Anyone else live in a ghetto apartment ?

this thread has become a qualifier thread.......

kids are bitching about oh-- tile not hardwood. my apartment does not smell of rich mahogany

I have linoleum in my bathroom, i have a mcdonalds down the street.

1. My friends want me to walk them outside when they leave. grown ass men this is.

2. My neighbors see me throw out garbage and instantly run outside to look for bottle deposits.

3. My neighbors communally chip in to buy cartons of newports or pally mauls.

4. Domestic violence not just in their apartments but also in the building foyer and parking lot

5. OP gets beat up and called justin beiber

i live in a 2 bedroom apartment with 4 other dudes

we had a mouse the other day, but we are a 7 minute walk to the bars so it's chyll

Not personally, but I went to a couple house parties where they had bouncers for the specific and only task of keeping the riff raff out because they would steal anything that wasn't nailed down and start fights and get the cops called. They were in pretty much the worst part of town.

Today-- mom across the hall knocks on my door.

her- hey do you have a spoon?

me-- how big?

her-- idk what you call it, something small to smoke pot out of.

dogz ma shit iz dumpy as poop. stuck in an apt at the racquet club in east vail. nobody cares bout us east side niggaz, way outchea in the cold, plows dont come for days after a storm. THE INCREASING NUMBER OF FRONT RANGE CLOWNS I SEE IN THE CHUTES IS HORRIFIC. speaking of the chutes, fuck its tuff skiing down to my front door but somebody has gotta be able to do it right... and then whenever the snow does finally melt i gotta sit on the back porch and watch it flow into waterfalls - fml

I wouldn't necessarily call it the ghetto, but I live in a pretty old house on a college campus. Shit is falling apart. We've got a few sketchy neighbors and it's not uncommon to see the ghetto bird (police helicopter) flying above shining its spotlight. That being said there's enough students in the surrounding area that I feel pretty safe. My house is a piece of shit though.

I'm debating living in my friend's walk in closet for the next year. I'd only have to pay like 80$ a month, could be very worth it.
