Anyone else here race/ride road bikes(bicycles)

And if you want to tell us, how long you've done it, do a shout out for your team/sponsors if your race, and if your a guy...are you hardcore enough that you shave your legs(the ladies will like that lol)
 
I have a hot pink/white/black Crammaratti from the 90's. It treats me well, I keep it in shape.

Did the Seattle to Portland ride in one day (320km) with Team Creo. Including a high speed crash, that was intense.

Doing a one week ride through Colorado in June.

I love just throwing my ski playlist on my mp3 and just flying around on the aerobars.

No I don't shave my legs, but I wear spandex obviously.
 
i shave my legs, as a matter of fact i just got out of the shower. i race road and also xc on the mountain bike. we'll give a shout out to team ironhorse new england then!
 
i ride for fun and to keep in shape. i go to the ohio state university, and i ride fixed gear through the city. anyone else ride fixed?
 
ive been riding for about half a year now (i mountain biked before tons, but it got boring). i fell in love wtih it so fast. its alot of fun, but haha no i dont shave my legs
 
I checked again, apparently I ride bmx a bit and dirt jump a bit, and........um when not broken and have a dh bike i ride that too. getting a road bike this summer though to get back to 100% health.
 
just got my mtn bike out for the first time in like 6 years. gonna get cracking this year
 
road racing and riding is fun, but it's nothing compared to mountain biking. mountain bike racing is probably the funnest thing i have ever done
 
Road racing is more analytical and much more of a team tactics sport than MTB. So if you dont have a good team, it can suck.
 
roads are for cars. trails are for bikes. people around here piss me off. the roads are barely wide enough for 2 cars to pass and dumbfuck road bikers are always riding down the middle of the roads
 
shut up clausen. if you only knew how hardcore roadbikes are. i got a specialized allez expert in the double, triples are for pussys. i dont shave my legs either, know lots of people who do. its actually kind of good for if you get road rash and shit your wounds heal a lot faster

i just started riding last year and im really excited because im riding next week when lax conditioning calms down and its a little warmer but because im 13 i havnt raced yet but m hoping to this summer and it will proboably be with the zephyr or bethel cycle teams
 
started riding road 2 years ago but was mountain biking for a long time. did a few small road races and enjoyed them. still doesnt compare to a DH race though. and i refuse to shave my legs, thats for bitches.
 
yoo i am thinking about getting the Specialized Allez Sport good or bad choice? i can get it for like 550 or so.. retail is 930 or so..
 
wow thats real real cute, you guys like to shave eachother in a like a circle-like fasion or is that just for swimmers. can't see any sport thats worth shaving your legs for.
 
that isnt really why cyclists shave their legs. they shave so when then crash and get all cut up, its easier to clean up and there is no hair holding dirt in the cut.
 
i've got skid stopping down like money. i can do a decent track stand, but i'm not that good at it yet. it's so gnarly blasting around down town at rush hour. i've gotten hit twice, and it's a bitch. dodging buses and angry business men is one hell of a rush.
 
i mount up my trusty lemond, but i dont race. im too lazy to get in shape that fast in teh beginning of the season, so i just end up getting in shape around october...
