Anyone else have AP tests coming up? I'm screwed

don't worry about AP tests, just make sure you do well on your placement tests. they are more important

see, AP tests wouldnt be a problem if you werent in/dont want to be in AP classes.

so stop taking AP classes if you dont like it.

Dude I'm taking Stats, BC Calc, and Physics C: Mechanics. The thing about it is that I was only in my classes about half the time.

I have to take the AP Statistics test on tuesday, I'm gonna fail it. Is it true that if you get a 2 or lower it shows up as an F on your college transcript? That's what some kid told me but I'm not sure. I thought that if you got a 3 you got college creds but if you got below 3 that nothing happened?

Yah, I'm taking stats on Tuesday as well. I don't think that it will show up as an F on your college transcript. But IDK

Below a 2 doesnt count as an F on your college transcript. Ask me how I know? My college didnt accept AP credit, but my high school made me take them, so I wrote in my name and went to sleep. Got a nice 3 hr nap.

i had my first one today in AP European History

i have to take my final for my class which is 3 days long and then do the national one which takes 4 hours.

The test that I'm worried about is the Physics C mechanics. The pass rate for the nation last year for a 3 or higher was like in the 40% range. ITS SOOO hard.

No, it's actually not very hard.

In many districts, teachers get bonuses for the number of kids that pass the test- so teachers encourage students who are clearly not prepared to take it to do so, hoping that a couple will pass.

Physics C covers the same concepts that are in B test, but with more difficult math. If you can do very basic integrals and derivatives you'll be fine.

Our school doesn't offer physics C, just B, which kind of sucks. I thought they graded the test against the whole country, like maybe the top 15% got 5's, the next 15% got 4's, etc. Maybe not?

BC Calc, Physics C: Mechanics and Physics C: Electrostatics, English literature, Spanish Literature, U.S. Government, U.S. History. I am going to have a shitty couple of days.

got Calculus AB next week, and Phisics and Government the week after

some of my friends are taking 6 AP tests! rediculous

I guess thats why they got into UW honors and i only got on the waiting list.

sat's saturday and physics b monday.... im not the worried though. i care more about the sats thought cause they will make much more of a difference

yeahh this year i have ap us history and ap chemistry

next year ill have ap psych ap bio and ap environmental

im so god damn excited...

hahaha im def not studying for mine. I have AB calc and European history, but I'm a senior so i could care less what i get. I can't wait until after the tests, because we don't do anything in our ap classes after the tests.

I got all 2's and a 1 on my AP tests. All my friends got 2's as well. Then when I got to college everyone I knew got 4's and 5's on everything. I guess I had a really shitty high school.

yea dude it depends a ton on the teacher. If the teacher doesnt teach the right stuff thats on the ap test, you will be screwed.

ap english lit, and ap chem.

i would have taken the ap us gov't test, but our teacher sits there in class going off on tangents and doesn't really teach the material. that class makes for good debates though

ap language and then ap us history. Language is going to be easy, i mean you dont have to know anything going into it

yea, language at least you don't have to study, and memorize dates and people for. you just have to know how to write, and hope you do good on the MC

im psyched for AP's next year. but right now im enjoying procrastinating the hell out of this world studies paper thats due tomorrow.
