Personally i could never skate slip ons. Ive got weak ass ankles and so i almost exclusively skate high tops but ya i get what u mean with the mobility thing, i dont get much pop with them

Im not saying high tops are better. Im just saying i dont think janoskis cover far enough towards your ankle to be optimal. Vans slip ons might even cover higher on your foot than janoskis even do, but thats just from memory so i could be wong.
 
He’s not Austyn Gillette or Dylan, or Shane and definitely not Louie, Luan or Suciu, hell not even like Yuto so I feel you. I think we are talking about 2 different things when we talk about easy.

But those guys don’t do the consequential and technical level of tricks that Nyjah does so consistently (maybe Yuto, and obviously Shane is fucked up good and is one of the most tech and crazy dudes of all time)

I don’t mean he makes classic tricks look effortless and clean as fuck like Wallisch on a cork 7 or something, I mean he makes shit like cab 270 noseblunt on a handrail look easy.

I love all of the skaters you mentioned in addition to a shit ton of others, all of whom I’d much rather watch skate (Provost, Kwalk, Ishod, Milton Martinez, Evan Smith, Dakota, Gilbert, and on and on) than Nyjah. All I’m saying is he’s reached a crazy level of success and notoriety because he’s incredibly talented and a beast and I think he gets too much hate and a lot of the time it’s from the “he’s not core maaaaaan” crowd.

I totally understand why you don’t like his style. It’s stiff, and kinda “jocky”.

Yeah nyjah does seem to have a jock attitude.

i saw him like slam some bottle of hard liquor which is cool when your 16 but looks stupid when you grow up and realize alcohol is a pretty shitty drug compared to the rest.

Also i dont know if nyjah bench presses or what but he looks like hes got bitch tits

WORD! Lol truly I think people that call athletes sell outs are either under 18 and still live at home or have never had to worry about money a day in their lives. Life’s hard little dudes. Don’t hate on people for getting paid. I only think people are sell outs if they stop shredding hard. Nyjah still rips as hard as anyone. Watch his bail segment. Dude is intense.
