Anyone else dislike IPODs

I love mine. Sure, it may break now and then (mine has only once) but i got a brand new one cause i bought it online.
 
yeah i like my iPod, doesnt bother me if it doesnt work properly, cause then i jsut keep on restarting it until it does
 
I used to but then they came out with the video ipod which is everything you can want for a decent price. I also like the nanos but dont think i would ever get one and shuffles are alright but could get something with a screen for probably less.
 
if u take care of ur shit it wont break.. if u hate them so much go buy a gay dell one and itll break a thousand times more
 
i hate them, the only good thing about them is how they work seemlessly with itunes, the hardware is crap though. mines broken in 3 ways and ive had it since christmass.
 
They are convenient, they hold a lot of music, and the extended warranty isn't that pricy. Seems like a solid music device to me. Sure there are flaws, but they are really good with the warranty because most of the time they are too lazy to actually "repair" it so they just send you a brand new one.
 
i like mine, i have skimovies, pictures of epic trips and music all in one package. they are a little expensive but well worth the cost.

I love mine... sure it may freeze from time to time so i just wait for the batteries to die then i just plug it into my computer and play it and it works wonderfully i think i'm gonna try defraging it to see if it helps it from freezing
 
mine broke. I dropped it a lot though. Like it would be sitting on my lap and I'd get out of the car and it would fall onto the cement. That happened a lot. Or I'd be just messing around and it would fall and i'd lunge to grab it but really just sorta send it flying across the room. One day I got the little folder with the exclamation point. Sad day.
 
you should have baught a case for it... like the rubberish ones.. they help prevent shock damage, and so on and so forth, i have only dripped mine like 3 times.. but its only if it was sitting on my lap and stuff, but i think if i disnt have the case it'd be pretty fucked
 
I have a Big dell Dj, the thing is 15 gigs and I bought it for 150$ brand new a while ago. 4gig Ipod mini's at that time were being sold at that time for 250$. Right now an Ipod is more of a fashion thing than a music player. I have so much music on my dell DJ, if I played it all straight it would run out of bateries, and I still would have 5 hours left of music. A kid in my first hour has a Ipod Video that he got right when it came out. He has 80 songs on it.
 
now that is as a fashion statement. my ipod has 18 GB on it. i'm not bragging that's not the point but if you are going to get a 30g player then at least use it.
 
i love them. and i hate how people are all like " well everyone has them i mean be original " but they work well if you just take care of them.
 
i don't like them, i've had mp3 players and an ipod. the ipod didn't last long. i still have the 2nd mp3 i've ever purchased. and all this "oh if you take care of it" point being, i don't have to take care of my mp3 player- the only time it acted up at all was when i landed directly on it while bailing on a rail. and personally i think the video ipods are stupid. why would you want so many possibilites with something so small? my 64 inch tv works pretty well for watching movies. and guess what i can actually see the picture!
 
haha, the small screen really is kinda pointless. and there are better mp3 players for the smae price.
 
i hate ipods and i hate apple and i hate everything about apple. PC4LYF3. i have a great mp3 player which has lasted me for quite a while and is still running strong. and its so easy to use too. i plug it in to the usb through a standard usb2.0 wire and it pops up. i make folders right in it for playlists and simply drag and drop the songs i want. couldnt possibly be any easier. it also has an fm radio and a button to record off it. it only has a calculator screen (none of this color/video bullshit) but it sure does what i need.

so FUCK APPLE!
 
I had an Ipod once. a 4 gig-mini.

Found it at a party in the grass when I was wasted as fuck. I put it right in my back pocket and didnt say a word to anyone. I ended up trading it for an xbox tho.

i think the video is a stupid idea. Your eyes strain so much to focus on the picture...not worth it.

I have had a 3G 10gb for 3 years now and it has never broken. Its bulletproof it seems. I JUST changed that battery on it too.

AFter the 3G, the quality seems to have dropped in them. I saw 4/5 video iPods break within the first 2 weeks on people (folder with the "!" popped up)

I recommend a 3G, so tough. Plus if you want, you can buy 60gb harddrives to fit in em (pricey though)
 
everyday there is a thread on Ipods. i like mine. i cant complain about it. if u like to listen to music get watever u want. who cares if someone else dislikes them its all good
 
i almost got one, but i'm so glad i got a creative instead. it may be bigger, but it's a hell of alot cheaper and more reliable than an ipod. anyone else notice all the threads with people bitching about their broken ipods? my point exactly.
