Anyone doing MEI? or heard of it?

But MEI is a Canadian(Ontario) based program where you go and take 1 or 2 grade 11 or grade 12 level courses, somewhere over seas. Basically, you travel to Europe or Africa or Asia or South America and you take a few courses, while traveling and having a good time in foreign countries.

I don't know if 'mericans can even do this, but i was just wondering if any Canadians are doing / interested / heard of it. It's really popular in Calgary, and Calgary students makes up a solid majority of it. The tutition is big, but hey, thats what part time jobs are for...... about minimum of $7500............

I got accepted into Ancient world odyssey, the Istanbul, Greece, Italy trip, and i think it would be so rad if there was some NS kids on it

It actually so fun, a lot of my buddies last year went on Europe Trek 1, and they had the best time, honestly, just getting so drunk, and traveling Europe.

 
A lot of people did stuff through MEI from my high school, I've heard nothing but positive stuff. If you can afford it then do it for sure.

A good friend of mine just got back from a 100 day MEI trip around Asia, and is going for another 100 days after Christmas to Europe I think. She's taking like 8 courses or something. Bloody expensive but she had an absolute blast.

and Ya i have only heard positive things aswell ^ no one, literally no one comes back with less than 80% in any of the courses, they set you up so well for Uni. The full year program she is taking would be so damn cool..... ugh, but it cost almost $40000.... fuckkkkk

Blyth > MEI for one reason alone.

Friends of mine didn't drink at all during their Europe trip, they were not allowed to. They then drank AFTER their final exam, came back to the hotel and the teachers caught them intoxicated. They lost their credit and the trip was wasted. not sure if they had to pay their own flight home or not.

MEANWHILE, on my blyth trip we were drinking almost every night. Some dudes drank 28/28 nights. Got an 87 in grd 12 english. Teachers were more strict at the beginning but by the end we would hit the bars. I went on the grand tour. If you have any questions about blyth you can PM me.
 
When did you go on Blyth, and when did your friends go to europe,

that sucks for your friends, but i have heard different stories from different people. On the africa trip, my friends partied pretty hard during their nights in resorts. On my buddies trek through europe trip, they smoked cigs, drank lots of beer, and blazed, never got caught. If i lost my credit, boyyyy my parents would tear me a new one, but i haven't heard of that happen. I know some people that did the mexico blyth, they said it was sweet, but idk MEI is the more popular one in calgary.

How much is Blyth?
