i develop my own at school, but thats over and i was thinking making a room in my basement into a dark room. anyone else develop their own, and if so what are your expenses?

its pretty expensive, my ex gf started to do it, but had too many probs with money and removing all light from the room

i took photography at school, but i always messed up. it was my only elective but it was my hardest class. i got like a D in it, i think.

I have a dark room in my house but i dont use it any more its just full of junk now. I wasnt the one hu bought it tho.

if you have a community college (or any college) near you sometimes you can just pay a lab fee and use their photo lab for a quater/summer/semester

The local college is your cheapest way but you'll be restricted by the hours of availablity. 15 years ago my parents built one in the basement for me and it ran about 10Gs you can do it cheaper it's just not going to be top quality stuff. Good luck dark rooms are a blast.
