Anyone Cook?

Dude, most awesome yet easiest reciple ever.

Smoked salmon caesar salad.

Get some good romaine lettuce, some caesar dressing, croutons, and smoked salmon. Lettuce, salmon, croutons, dressing. In that order.

Get some good sourdough bread too. Plum wine goes good with most seafood selections and with salads, balancing out the bitterness of the leaves with the sweetness of the plum wine.

For desert, get some brownies and two scoops of Vanilla ice cream. It's on!

uhh... go with the easy standard spagetti and meatball. this way you can tell if she is worth your time. If a chick can eat hearty food, it means she can cook, which means you will have to cook less in the future. now if you already have this girl on the line and you are trying to make up for something or just like cooking, go with the salmon salad or something fruity like that (look online for recepies). oh and always remember that there is nothing gay about desert whether it is strawberry's dipped in chocolate or brownies and icecream.

Spaghetti and meatballs = bad idea.

I like the idea of the smoked salmon salad - but just a salad for dinner? Meh, that's more of an appetizer. Got to have something better for the main course.

You can't really go wrong with some sort of pasta with a cream sauce, not a tomato based sauce. Something like alfredo, etc.

Here:

1 lb fettucine

1/2 cup butter

2 cloves garlic, chopped

2 1/2 cups light cream or half and half

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon pepper

pinch of salt

Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt when water is boiling.

Add fettucine. Cook uncovered 10-12 minutes (or according to package directions). Drain; cover and set aside.

IN a large skillet, melt butter. Saute chopped garlic over medium heat for 1 minute.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups cream or half and half (half and half = half milk/half cream).

Cook over medium heat 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. When hot, stir in fettucine. Add remaining cream or half and half, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. Stir to mix well.

After 1-2 minutes, when pasta is hot, serve accompanied by extra cheese for sprinkling, if desired.

Side that with a salad and you're good to go.

Baked Cod portugese:

Ingredients

75g/3oz unsalted butter

900g/2lb thick cod fillet, skin on, cut into 4 pieces

1 large onion, cut into quarters and sliced finely

4 plum tomatoes, skinned, seeded and chopped

4 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped

290ml/½ pint fish stock

120ml/4fl oz white wine

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

salt and freshly ground black pepper

parsley sprigs, to garnish

Method

1. Melt half the butter in a shallow flameproof casserole dish that is big enough to hold all the pieces of cod in a single layer.

2. Fry the cod, skin-side down, for 1 minute, until crisp and golden. Carefully remove from the dish and set aside.

3. Add the onion to the dish and fry gently for 5 minutes, until softened.

4. Add the plum tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, stock and white wine. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes, until slightly reduced and thickened.

5. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.

6. Place the cod skin-side up on top of the onion and tomato mixture, transfer the casserole dish to the oven and bake for 5-6 minutes - less if the pieces of cod are thin.

7. Remove from the oven and lift the cod out on to a warm plate. Return the dish to the stove over a high heat, add the remaining butter and reduce by boiling rapidly for about 4 minutes, stirring now and then, to make a really thick sauce.

7. Stir in the parsley, season with salt and pepper and cook for 30 seconds more. Spoon the sauce on to four warm plates, put the cod on top and garnish with parsley sprigs. Serve with boiled potatoes and green salad.

super-easy

I made a dope pizza for my gf and i last night

The Ryno v1.0:

- whole wheat crust

- tomato sauce with dried red peppers mixed in with it

- lemon and pepper seasoned chicken diced into stripes and put on top of the sauce

- cooked and diced up bacon all over

- mozza cheese to top it off

- small squirts of lemon juice on the cheese all over the top

- lemon pepper seasoning on the cheese too

Fucking dope pizza and she LOVED it. Its hot because of the red peppers in the sauce and the black ground pepper but the lemon balances it out really nice and the chicken/bacon combo is a homerun.

penne noodles

if you want to make a dessert, here's a fun and easy one. you can also make it together and get a little dirty with the ingredients....

Chocolate PB No bake cookies....

4 oz butter

1/2 cup milk

2 cups sugar

1 cup chocolate chips

4 tblsp peanut butter

3 cups of oats

1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine milk, butter, and sugar in sauce pan and heat until boiling. Boil for exactly 1 minute, while stirring in chocolate chips. Mix remaining ingredients in another bowl. Pour sauce pan mixture over ingredients in bowl and stir together. Drop onto cookie sheets covered with wax paper and cool in fridge for 1 hour, then eat!
