Anyone broken their i-pod skiing?

i dont bring my ipod with me skiing, cuz if i fall ino i would break it with my luck. so i just put my favorite songs on my 512mb mp3 player and use that

i did the exact same thing, and now my screen is all screwy. its like a crack in it, and the black stuff is leaking all over it and its fucked. i sent it in to apple and i had applecare and all that shit, but they sent it back with a note saying that they wouldn't replace it because they thought i had taken a hammer to it so i could get a free new one.

yupp. my shuffle fell out and got wet, then the water froze and it broke. then i crushed my nano. nd yet i still bought another one because i cannot ski without music.

yea had my ipod in my chest pocket, fell slid into a tree and borke it, left a pretty cool bruse though you could see the wheel and everything
