Anyone been to mammoth recently?

website said they got 15 feet of new snow last week, wtf? everywhere else is closed and they got 15 feet of new snow WITH new snow incoming...

They said they only got 4 feet in all of April so I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

But 50'+ of snow during the season makes for deep base and long season.

I was there the first three weekends in April, but I missed the last two. They have a TON of snow. The last weekend I was there it was slushy and sick, really fun up high. The lower stuff was like glue, but the top stuff was really fun to ski. I wanted to go this weekend, but I have an actuary exam on May 18, so I won't get up until then, which is really killing me with how good it is. I will probably hit it that weekend, and then Memorial Day, and then call it a season, as our ski lease will be done.

There is so much snow, that the top steeps(most of them anyway) should be in play for a long time. The Paranoids should be good into June, I would think. They are going until July 4th, and things should be good in the morning in June.
