I was just randonly checking their website and seen a list of a ton of new features. Has anyone rode there yet?

yeah dude...they've got a shitiot load of new rails. Two flat bars (one is gonna be set up like a staircase rail, the other set up a bit easier), there is an A-rail (or single kink), battleship rail, two single barrel rails, a jib box, and a kinda c-rail/rainbow...its on a slant, and a double kink. A C-box is still in the works, although not sure if there's gonna be enough room for it, so that might happen. We are blowing some more snow before the pipe gets built and same with the table tops. Hoping to have 1 big jump at the bottom (with two take-offs) and another smaller table to keep the kiddies happy. I'd like to get a massive hip built as well, but it depends on if we can get a bit more of the hill.

60 footer...i doubt that...when i was their before the jump was maybe 40 and that was peak in season. may i add that it was almost impossible to clear (even bombing from the top barely got me to the landing)...lakeridge doesnt have the vert, run size or pitch to have a 60 footer

I live right beside Kirby. I've rode there for something like 13 years. This is my first year not getting a membership. It's the first year that Kirby doesn't look half bad. The rails do look decent. As of right now I think there is only one booter, which seems lame for a 'park' but the rails do seem good, better then anything I've seen at Dagmar anyways....

guys, the majority of the skiers at Kirby can't even slide the most basic rail. There's only 1 guy I've seen that can do everything pretty decent. Give it some time...guaranteed, the park is going to get way better. It's only been open for 7 days. And compared to last year it's 100% better. if you keep bitching nothing will improve...constructive critisicm will help, not bitching about it. it helps management understand what is needed. Kirby has actually listened to their riders and they built a bunch of new rails and are trying to get a decent park together. Remember its only about 300 verticle....you can't have a long rail line on a small hill or have big jumps. The jump that's there now, only about 5% of the riders can actually make the landing. Take what you can get. If you want a bigger park, move to Whistler.
