you don't go to Jackson for park. If you are looking for a good park with an opportunity to ski some pow too, head somewhere else.

I personally have never hit anything but the mini park on the way to the gondi, but last year as we were leaving, it looked like they were putting up some legit jumps and rails. But god damn that is my favorite place on earth.

i swear to god, if you change your mind and go somewhere else, only because you want a park, you are an idiot.

Or maybe the snow in this region is really good enough to make trips to steep and deep resorts worth it. He probably isn't an idiot, dropping cliffs with no snow is not fun.

Yes, Jackson rocks and the park is OK, but bring or rent some big sticks and learn how to ski on real snow, its some of the best there is in the US

Its cold as balls in february March seems to be the time to go but every year when we go its kinda hit or miss, example: last year spring conditions with the exception of first day had like 8 inches, Two years ago everynight at least a foot of snow fell.......February could be awesome or it could be dry and cold

Jackson is possibly the best mountain ever! I didn't leave the resort once when i was there. I stayed inbounds the entire time and it was still amazing. Alta chutes are amazing. There is no shortage of good terrain. The left side of the resort is literally top to bottom around 40 degrees. Its really steep. I went there in late march so it was spring skiing not to much pow. But definitely don't go there for the park. The half pipe was alright but only because they groomed it the day i skied it and it was nice and soft no ice. The biggest jump in the main park wasn't that big. I don't know the measurements. They had a couple of good rails but nothing like what you'll find at keystone or breck or anyother resort thats known for there park. Go to whistler man. My dad has skied there a bunch of times and loves the mountain. They have a lot of amazing bowls and chutes and still have a really good park. I might go there this winter. also they have amazing deals on hotel and ski packages because the olympics are on. Don't go there during it but go before or after.

don't go to Jackson for xmas, or any other time. go to vail, it's way better. why do you think they call it vail?

im going for a few days between the 1st and 10th of jan. gonna kick it in my car. anyone know where to get some cheap lift tickets?

trust me, unless you got your avy knowledge and gear on lock, you really dont want that to happen at all.
I went last year, 12 foot walls where the avys broke. scary.

I was there in the summer actually. I didnt get to ski of course, but i was on top of one of the skiing mountains. It looks so nice. I have family over there. I hear it snows a ton and theres great skiing
