Anyone been to Central Asia for skiing?

Was hoping to get back out to Kashmir this season but looking like that won't be an option, so looking for some tips on the rest of Central Asia. Has anyone been skiing out there, specifically Uzbekistan and/or Kyrgyzstan, and can tell me about typical guide fees, snow conditions, and best time of year?

Kyrgyzstan has some ripping mogul skiers. Dymitry Rheinhardt and Yulia Galasheva are both top 5 on the WC and they had a WC contest there last season, so they got some lifts there. Mountains look huge, but i've heard tourism over there is almost non existent .
