There has been a disturbing trend in this offseason, downright fucking ridiculous.

.500 pitchers are getting 10+ million a season, Meche signed for 5 year 55 fucking million dollars. Lily, 4 years 40 million in chicago.

Pitchers are starting to get more money, because the fact is, good pitching will outdo good hitting anyday. That's why if you fail 7 out of ten times (.300 avg) you're considered a good hitter. Last time I checked, the least amount you could make in the big leagues is $375,000!

A pitcher only plays about 20% of the games, yes pitching is important but 10 mil on a mid rotation starter is ridiculous.
