Anybody use the Panasonic 14mm?

Hey guys, just looking to see if you guys have had any experience using the Panasonic 14mm.

Selling my T3i next week and buying a GH3. So I'm looking to pick up a good first lens for it without spending money I don't have haha. Also have another more vague question if anybody's up for it. How's the quality of the aftermarket Vello battery grip compared to the Panasonic one? I'm guessing it's pretty comparable considering it's $100 but I'd just like to hear from you guys about it if I could.

Thanks guys! +K for anyone who can throw some good word my way, keep it real NS!

Just skip the battery grip, one battery lasts two days of filming park.

14mm is kind of a weird focal length on the 2x crop. Are you planning on keeping any canon lenses to use? or you completely switching?

More getting the battery grip for the feel and the extra shutter and blah, I've just always liked them haha.

And yeah, it just seemed like the most useful prime lens I could get for the price. And not really, debating to sell my Rokinon 8mm Canon mount but I'm not sure wether to keep or not because of the crop would look weird in 8mm and I would have to buy the converter. You might be able to help me with another question too, if I keep the 8mm, can I buy just a cheap non electric converter and would it work just fine because the Rokinon already has no auto focus and has the manual aperture?

something like this:

Yeah that could work for sure, the native 7.5mm fish is pretty nice tho.

As for other lenses, what kinda budget you got? There are some kick ass native lenses for m4/3 but they're expensive.

Yeah, now I'm a little unsure on what to do haha. I think I may just keep the fisheye, pick up the 14mm, and go from there. I'm really not looking to spend too much more than $300 after buying the body with the money from selling my camera, and even that's pushing it. So I think if I keep the fisheye, get a cheap prime, and go from there and save for some more expensive native lenses, I should be set.

Thanks eheath, you always set my decision in stone haha

All the rail shots in this I used a Rokinon 8mm canon mount with my GH4 with a non electric converter.
