Anybody taken numerical methods or matlab class that could offer some insight?

nah but when i was skimming though threads i combined methods and matlab and i thought your thread was about a meth lab ha.
 
I took a little java-- its kinda similar so maybe I could point you in the right direction... what are you struggling with?
 
matlab isn't too bad, it def has its own syntax quirks but generally is pretty straightforward. what are you trying to do?
