Word on the street is they brought in a bunch of head hunters from Salomon to restructure things. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it seems sort of weird.

Dynastar is a great company. They've made solid skis for many years, theyre relatively inexpensive. Their customer support is top notch.

Why are you complaining?

i'd ride tm's again if i got them for free. would never pay for them though. chris weren't you on tm's in hood?

when some of their athletes are going through 15 or so pair a year then you know their ski is a piece of shit

As usual youre a whore^ I dont see how you can call the TM's a 'piece of shit' I used them all seasonn at Alta 70 plus days and they are fine. If by 'piece of shit' you mean the edges fall out when you slide them on concrete or metal...what the fuck do you expect, many skis cant do that. Doesnt mean they are a shit ski, the TM's actually ski very nicely. I like how you all base how good a ski is by if it holds up on rails.

I've skied Dynastar and Volkl and Line over the last 3 years and really haven't had a major issue with any of them and I'm sure I beat my skis harder than most of you.

Yes, the edges will rip out if you slide on concrete and rails all day. I'm not going to complain about a poor product though.

I paid about $300 to ride a pair of skis last season, and I rode them on everything. They still haven't delammed or lost any edge.

What is there to complain about??

Someone please post some examples...

dspin ive ridden a ton of skis and dynastars are the only ones that ive had a problem with the edges falling from rails or cement

i've gone through 3 pairs of line darksides (2 pairs delammed, 1 pair the edge came out) and i got a pair of TM's this past season which held up super well after sliding rails all season, you can barely tell

 
ive got the tm;s and ive had no problems at all. no edges fall out, no base damage and im from the east and a small icy hill. thus making me not much more than a park rat.

im sure there are alot of TMS out there that havent fallen apart, but in my experience selling them/riding them/athletes that ride for them...ive seen alot of pairs just destroyed...we took in over half of what we sold to send back to the factory (and alot of those problems WERENT from sliding anything)...the ski wasnt my FAVORITE of all time, but it wasnt SHIT either...but dunno, i just wouldnt put the TM as number 1 on my list of 'reliable skis'

the tms road like butter they are by far in my opinion the best riding ski that can be used in the park.. sure the edges break but what can u except ur doing a sport that involves impact on rails.. u cant have an invincible ski

i support dynstar, my Tms are holding up fine and ive gone skiing 60+ days last season.

wierd, my fujatives are $125 less and lasted 100 days where i hit rails all day (take about 20 pow days out of that). No missing edges.

man,i grinded so many rails and only had 1 crack in the edge, and i've seen TM's after 2 weeks w/ no edges, i say they suck.

wow chill the fuck out. lets see when i have a number of choices of skis that ride just as well as the tm's all mountain, but don't fall apart when using them in the park then why the hell would i choose the one that will fall apart. for the same price or cheaper you can get a ski that rides just as well and holds up better.

another issue with the supporting dynastar thing is that they said the tm's are bombproof. their riders and reps were saying it last spring when it was out. obviously they lie.

dynastar is thebest.....the tms are by far the best ski on jumps and in the pipe...they also ride well regular like on the grooms and in teh trees...only prob is the edges...the new pro models have a soft sheet on top that will help prevent falling out edges or in my technical terms 'edgious breakorium falloutious'

skier1098231^ Haha dude I skied with your buddies hunter, pete, and sean many many days on the trouble makers, I only bring out my fat skis (189 pistols, and next year 195 b3's) when you really need them. Most days at alta the troublemakers are enough, and they are more fun to hit the jumps around alta than huge ass 190+ skis.

dynastar fucking rules. especially witht their newschool program, i got brand new factory sealed tm's and look p-10s for $375 directly from the dynastar factory.

why doesn't somebody just tell dynastar they need to fix their edges?? wait.. maybe 05 Troublemakers..new edges??? maybe...

Aside from that point, I still support Dynastar by riding 182 TMs..and if I need to will buy the next years TMs also..

i used TM's as a sole park ski this year with maybe one or two trips to hit some backcountry booters (used Scratch BC's the rest of the time), took them on rails, ledges, urban shit, picnic tables, you name it, i hit it, and my TM's are fine, no damage. I will be buying a pair of 05's for the sole reason that i think theyre the sickest park ski around

i skied on them all last year, and will have a few more days left on mine this summer on the glacier before i get new skis in october. i liked how they rode except for in the powder, which in washington is quite often. i thought they were noodly and worse than my 1080s that i rode for 4 years. I saw what can happen to them with extensive use, which makes me not want to support dynastar again, but for paying $289 for the skis, i cant complain.
