Anybody in La Plagne this season?

Kitchen Porter :) best hours for skiing out of all the jobs Mark Warner had available. work like 50 hours a week or something, get 70 quid a week. Food, accommodation, season lift pass for La plagne, flights and transfers to resort all paid for. Can use skis from their rental shop aswell if I choose. Shifts are like 7-11 then 4/5-9/10 or something like that? I can't quite remember, but yeah. cannot wait
 
Sounds pretty good, Kitchen porter would be great, people always say its one of the best jobs available, hard to get into? And did you need many references/experience? Cheers
 
I'm not sure exactly how hard it is to get into if I'm honest, I'm not actually sure how competitive it is. I worked 3 summer seasons as Dish Washer/Kitchen Porter in a restaurant, 2 summer seasons in a little tourist shop, and just coming to the end of this season working in a Fish and Chip shop, all in the same town, and it get's really really busy down here, so I just gloated about this in my interview and made sure they knew I'd had plenty of experience in the food industry. Yeah I put down 2 of my employers for references but I'm pretty sure they didn't get in contact with either of them.
 
Yeah that's the problem with me, only experience I have is in a solicitors and making fishing nets.
