Anybody have Surface New Lifes? I have some questions...

So I am going to buy some Surface New Lifes, but I can't decide if I should get the 174 or the 184. I am only 5' 5", 135-140 lbs, but I don't want to end up with a ski that's too short for me. I know that New Lifes have quite a bit of rocker, so they will ski much shorter, I just don't know how much. Any experience out there?Also, I know that they are fully symmetrical, but I feel really weird mounting bindings at center for pow skis. Do I really need to mount them center, or can a move them back a bit?

I'm 5ft 9in. and i ride a 174 so I would so 174 or smaller

I'm 6'2" and have 184s, since the 194s sold out. But if i was you I'd definitely get the 174's.

thats where theyre supposed to be mounted, so yes. They're fully symetrical

im 5'5 and i ski 175s seem perfect for me and they are JJs soi a pow ski 174 would be pretty ideal i think hope this helps
