I feel like as long as the mods are soft handed, we could jump start this bitch and get some action again. It used to be a really cool hangout; its sad it bit the dust so hard and everybody left. Maybe message your friends and tell them to get back on ns? Freestyle skiing doesnt have to be the fresh new thing it was in 2003-2010 in order for ns to be a cool/somewhat popular forum. Maybe non ski and ski gabber should be merged to entice traffic.

Either way this putrification doesnt seem sustainable to me. Controversial threads might attract members too. Talking about sildarus wack style should be allowed if it attracts postings. If shit like that isnt allowed this site is truly done for.
 
People always lament of the "Good ole days" of NS but the reality is this place got pretty toxic and pushed a lot of potential users away. NSG became a Reddit repost troll board and SG lost its focus of actually helping kids get into and improve their skiing. Now that 80% of all new ski content is online, NS has become a hub and media platform and its cool to see it more focused. There is also a good mix of older and younger users to bridge the gap of the 00's into what skiing will become today which is something I like to see. If users want to come back to talk about skiing then yeah thats dope but I personally dont want to see this new direction turn back into a cesspool of random shit posting.
 
You've only had your account for 6 months and youve already made 3 posts about how dead you think ns has become. Just stop dude, the forums are still pretty damn active for how niche of a sport this is

That is actually pretty meta. The whole crackdown on NSG started because the trolls started to really only do shit material. Back in the glory days trolls were original and creative... it added to the place. Somewhere in the last 5 years though internet trolling in general completely went to shit.

It sucks but all these people who are saying NS Is dead are wrong
