Dude i'm cursed. My fleet are flat as boards. It makes it hard to find a ski boot that doesn't kill my feet. due to my flat feet, my ankles and another bone roll out to the side and rub the side of the boot. would a rossi soft boot work anybetter? any advice appreciated.

go to your shop and get custom footbeds made. your problems will be solved, and your skiing will improve too.

get surefeet custom orthotics SP?

About $270 but they make such a big improvment on your balance and riding

Custom Made Foot Beds, are real orthics as Faller has suggested while be your BEST option.

But if your short on cash and want a quick fix whip a pair of these in our boots:http://www.superfeet.com/content/product.html

Superfeet:Peformace Line.

I have some in my boots, and there a WAY better, i put them in my shoes too sometimes. Anyways there only like 40 bucks Max, and help alot.

yeah i got flat feet 2 my 1080 boots r great but for some reason keep getting shin pains only in my right shin dunno y

Custom footbeds did the trick for my flat feet. There a little expensive (in my opinion), but totaly worth it.

i have the exact same problem. when im not skiing i hav to wear huge arthotics cause my feet are so messed up. butyeah, you can get these insoles called super feet, they are about 20-30 bucks but they are worth getting if your feet are really messed up instead of getting a custom boot or something. I have the insoles in my new 1080s and its working out great.

I've got flat feet as well and have been wearing inserts from the doctors for as long as I can remember. Sure it's a slight hassle, but no foot pain.

I have suffer from the same affliction. I am noticing it really bad this year, I have blisters on my ankles. When I bought my boots, I bought footbeds, but this was about 4 years ago now, so I think its time for some new ones.

Just a question for the flat footed peeps, what boot do you wear? In addition to flat feet, mine are also very wide. I have Salomon Performa 7s.

What you need are orthotics, although custom insoles will do in a pinch. Orthotics will actually correct your foot while insoles will just kind of help support your falling arches. I got some ortho's done at Ski Tek in Ketchum/Sun Vally Idaho and they are absolutly the shit. I have regular walking ones that I won't go without, and some corks for my ski boots that actually let my monkey feet into a race tech boot comfortably!

i get blisters on both sides of my right ankle every time i go ski. just blisters over blisters. it sucks ass

hahah flat feet, my friend has thtat, it looks so goofy looking when he walks, he waddles. or maybe because hes fat

1080s are crap and pack out way too much. You need an orthodic that will keep your feet in the proper position, that way your ankles won't roll out and you can then be wearing the proper fitting boots. I have flat feet and have custom footbeds and Lange Comp FR 120s.

i dont have flat feet but im thinking of investing in some custom footbeds sometime soon cuz the technica icon ones suck balls

if you're really pressed for cash, just buy some foam, and cut small circles in it. then, put these inside your sock, soon enough, the foam compresses, and its like your ankles are in bed! thats what i do, am still growing so i haven't got my own boots, i'm fed up with renting shit too, sorry, rant over!

Not only do I have flat feet... but they're also wide. I was having extreme pain (had to sit runs out) in both the arches of my feet and the outside of my foot right before my toes.

I bought Superfeet insoles and that solved the problem with the pain in the arches of my feet. As we speak, my shop is widening the shells of my boots, which should hopefully cure the pain on the outside of my feet.

Go to your doctor and get referred to a podiatrist. They can prescribe you an orthotic that will support your arches. You can put it in your shoes and your ski boots and it will help alot.

i have them too, i use some knock off brand that works great. I have heard that flat feet cause knee pain also? correct me if im wrong?

i have very flat feet, try some superfeet. I went to my boot fitter and every boot i tried on always would come down heavy on the top of my foot and would all just not feel right but once you get an archsupport in there they wont hurt your feet anymore and it will also give you more room for your feet because superfeet soles arent as thick as the sole that come in ski boots.

i have very very flat and very very wide feet....i had some hot form boots but padded the liners out in a year.

try some salomon spks...i switched to them last year and it has been heaven for my feet since...they are super comfy

lange woudnt be a bad way to go and if you put custom molds or orthodics in a 1080 or a spk that would be good too.

i also have the extra bone problem

mines really big and sticks out from th left side of my foot and rubs against my boot

you got any advice about it

flat feet generally means poor alignment, which can cause both the knees and back

to have extra torque put on them, which may cause pain. orthodics for shoes, custom foot beds for ski boots fit better while in ski boots, try sidas (I find they help me more than supperfeet), or supperfeet

i have real flat feet and used these things too. they helped a ton now my feet really dont hurt at all after being in my boots all day

I have flat feet. I wear Dalbello Rave boots and they fit fine, lots of people have flat feet anyways so don't feel all that bad.

i have the same problems. the ankle rubbing on the inside of your boot (if it's the inside ankle bone) is caused by pronation (i think)...it's when you bend your knees, your weight isn't distributed right and your ankle rolls in and can cause pain in your shin as well...a heel wedge should fix the problem

i have flat feet, custom cork is the shit. little pricey though, but extremely worth it and you will have them for a long time...Superfeet are good too for the price

i got new boots this year and the shop guy said i had the flattest feet he had ever seen so he hooked me up with some head mojo heat fits. they hurt like a bitch for the first day and a half but since then they are the most comfortable boots i have ever worn

i have flat feet, you got to go into surefoot get foam liners, footbeds and get your shells blown out if your as bad as me.....
