Anybody got any good Ski Boot suggestions? Models, Brands, etc.

Always rented, been ridin' free since this last season but loved that shit. Wish i had started before but then again I live in good'ol Mexico so gimmie a break arrraight! So:

I got me a pair of used Chronics and Reactor bindings... sick shit! I ski good I only need to get better at my none existent park skills. So I just wanted to know what boots you all recommend. U know, brands, models, da whole enchilada...

 
ok. first, you will use the word freeriding. there is no "riding free", as americans arent really free, and for that matter no one is. second, you will now march your ass to the nearest technica dealer,a nd buy a pair of technica icon alu comps, as they are the sickest boots ever created.

go to a store and try every brand of boot on and get the one that feels the best...

you are one giant piece of internet suck -...focus....
 
It totally depends on your feet. Try on as many as possible. The only thing you have to decide is how stiff a boot you want. The more park you do, the more flex you want in your boot. The more carving/high speed/ crud skiing you do, the more stiffness you want in your boot.

Lange happens to be best for me.

^ NO do not go to sure foot the only thing they do is fuck up your boots they cant do anything right. What boot you need depends on your foot and your ability. I would say look into Atomic, Nordica, Lange, Salomon, Technica. but please for your sake dont go to sure foot aka sore foot.

Hate all you want, Surefoot has been the only thing that worked for me. All these other shop mostly pimp the Superfeet insoles which are ancient tech. and horrible for people with low arches. I also have an incredibly hard heel to fit and no other bootfitters have been able to get me a good fit.

I have spent hundreds actually over $1000 on BOOTFITTING this year and Surefoot are the only people who got me a good fit by using custom liners in my 1080 shells.

Yeah, I spent waaay too much money on all that but all I wanted to do was ski in boots where my heel would stay put.

 
check out technica boots and dalbello kryptons. both awesome. i use the technica icon alu comps with the hotform liners. soooooooooooo comfy

the flex indexes are different for every company, but the lower the #, the softer the boot.

^ flex index is measured in derometers bode miller skis on like a 160-180 the average freerider will want between 80-110
