Do any of you guys have a G5 yet? Or been able to use one at all? If you do post up some pictures and tell us how it is.

 
well fuck me in the ass cause i still wouldnt know. those fags at apple have delayed shipping me that shit for a month, ive been sitting here at school bumming Rich's computer. but once it comes, i'll tell everybody

i havent put an order in for one, im wating for the next revision in the winter or fall months.

i have used the 1.6 and 1.8 at shool though, havent seen a dual 2 yet, this place got them all damnit!!

i dunno, they're being kinda gay about it but i think its at home now. it got shipped there because if i switched it to my dorm addy a few weeks ago, i would have gone back about 7-10 weeks on the ship list. ima get it next weekend during fall break.

our school has a G5 with dual monitors and all that kinda shit, its bein used for Mya (sp?)the program that made shrek

Shipping is delayed cause it's the back to school season and everyone wants a computer yesterday, so no one wants to wait. The average ship time for a computer right now is about 4 weeks.

The G5 kicks serious ass. My local apple shop has one. The icons dont even bounce once before the program opens. It's crazy

G5 2Ghz Dual processer, so fast, so much power, but what for? No one can possibly wank off fast enough for it!! hahaha :)

recieved my 1.8 G5 a week ago. Currently it is now in an apple care center. Get this.. i turned it on the other day, nothing came up on the screen.. after a few minutes, the computer started getting LOUDER..the fans started spinning faster and faster until after a few minutes it peaked out at this rediculously loud noise..scared the shit out of me so i turned it off and called apple..after resetting the memory and trying all this other stuff nothing worked, i took it to an apple care center to get it looked at.. no one knows exactly whats wrong with it but they are guessing its a hardware problem... soooo i have my G5 and its fucking awesome, cept its in someones office...meh

well, its here.... HOLY FUCK!!! thats all, for some reason i cant put my Final Cut on though. the only problem ive had is that ive had to run tests on the system a few times already but it was only because the stupid mouse hasnt been responding.
