it seems ridiculously cheap right now, but i sent him a message reading "the shipping says it is an overnight flat rate, if I win are there other shipping options or is the 80$ overnight the only available option?"

and he replied with "

yes you bid, for the right amount i could have this ship next day with no problems.

Happy Bidding

Thank you"

which seems like he doesn't have very good english and could easily be some crazy foreign scam artist.

Looks a bit shady to me. So far he has 4 feedback as a seller. 3 out of 4 customers had a good experience. One got screwed. So basically going by that logic, you have a 25% chance of getting fucked over by this guy. If you pay with paypal it should be fine because they insure you and if you never get the item or its different than he described it, you can make a claim and go through this long process and eventually get your money back. Its up to you man. Personally, I probably wouldn't take the risk unless I really really wanted those turntables.

I don't deal with anyone under 99% feedback and atleast 20 transactions. I also don't buy from people who can't use capital letters or correct punctuation.

Capital letters is a tad ridiculous, I'm only using them right now because you made me think about it. But, yeah the good experiences could have been fake account, i wouldnt suggest buying.

word i don't understand the capital letters thing. i am not using them here, but it is informal. if you are trying to sell something you would think people would capitalize things and what not. i wouldn't recommend buying from this guy, looks shady.

just ask for another picture, and then i would decide. the last transaction he had was a few years ago.

word, I asked for another picture with my username on a piece of paper in it, so I'll see if he comes through.

The last item he won a bid on was a mixer so it seems he has some dealings in the same type of stuff.

It seems pretty sketch to me, but I'll wait on the pic to decide.

well he sent me pictures of exactly what i asked for, details of the cartridges with my username in the background.. what do I make of this?

If are you are worried about a scam, another good way to protect your self is to tie a credit card to your paypal account and have funds drawn from that credit card. This gives you two lines of defense, the normal paypal one and you can cancel the charge on the credit card if things go sour.

if he sent you all that stuff then it's probably ok but definitely use paypal and I would suggest connecting the paypal account to a credit card because that has saved me before. credit cards are pretty willing to help you out usually even if paypal won't. those are pretty good turn tables though. have fun with them.

Someone did the same thing for me after sending pictures of his email, my email, my name, his name and still fucked me over. I don't trust anyone anymore.
