Anybody from Missoula

I've been a few times because I have a lot of family in Montana but I'm wondering how is the snowbowl? I might have an opportunity to relocate there at the end of this year.

I have family in Missoula who can help out with a job and getting settled down. Missoula is a sick little town from what I have experienced but yeah Bridger bowl and big sky would be better mountains.

issoulas fun, just not much of a ski town
 
I've never skied at Snowbowl but just checked out te trail map, it looks pretty rad, not too big but good vertical.

How far do you have to drive from where you live now to go ski? Iirc you're in northern California up by Redding-ish? How close is Snowbowl to where you looking at living in Missoula?
 
Snowbowl is trash, best skiing around Missoula is Lost Trail and its 1hr 30min away.

Yeah I'm up in the Redding area. Shasta is an hour away and Lassen 45 minutes. There is great skiing to be had up here escpacially with Tahoe a couple hours away. I just got presented with the opportunity to go to Missoula. My kid brother is there and some other family members but none of them ski.

Its tiny, doesn't get a ton of snow, im sure it would be fun to ride a couple times a year. Lost Trail is much better just an extra hour drive. Missoula as a town is fine, its growing for sure.
