Anybody from chamonix?

I'm heading over to France next week for about 3 weeks. I'll be in Paris for the Air Show, then down to Chamonix for a week, then down to Toulouse to visit my girlfriend who is doing an aerospace program there.

anything specific we should do in chamonix? we are planning on going up the Aiguille du Midi and hiking around a bit. We are big hikers, so anything like that would be great!

Sorry Chamonix is not on my road.
