The sociological study of society, social institutions, group behaviour, personality formation and social change.

It's my senior year in highschool next year and I'm taking collage socialogy. I'm not sure if thats what your taking but my sister said she took it in collage and it was pretty easy, just a lot of theory. Mabey I'm thinking of psycology.

i took a sociology class. not taking anymore. not particularly hard (although you could have quite a bit of reading) but the classes really aren't all that interesting, at least in my opinion.

Film can definitely be fun, but don't think that it will be easy. The intro film class at my college requires a film journal at the end of the semester totaling something like 60,000 words.

Sociology has never been my cup of tea. I've taken two courses, and found the conclusions about society to be pretty wishy-washy and heuristic. Thats not to say that the work Isn't interesting and important, I just think the benchmark for truth in sociology is set to low to justify the scope of their conclusions...but then again, I'm a philosophy/math guy, so our benchmark for tends to be absurd.

i took my university's intro to sociology class. easiest class i've ever had. i got a 105 and didn't do anything. if you can understand that the white suburban male between the age of 18 and 40 rules the world, than you don't have to think (thats pretty much what this book and my professor were talking about; how everyone else is fucked by that stereotype). take it for an easy A, unless your professor is a raging bitch and tries to make it hard somehow.

yeah, its a pretty general course. i took the same sociology and it wasn't bad. like anything else, it can be a lot of reading but it's relatively easy and a requires mostly busywork.

Just finished "Deviance in US Society" really interesting class but a lot of work. The exams took me an average of 3 and a half hours each because each one was 4 essay questions and 14 short answer. The class was about abnormal behavior like drugs, rape, murder, sexual fetishes (asphyxia), cutting, crime and criminals, prostitution, and other fucked up shit. The prof was hilarious. It was a lot of reading and the tests were ridiculously hard

i took one a couple semesters ago and it was pretty easy. a lot of reading was assigned but you dont have to do it cause the concepts are pretty easy to understand. the papers werent bad either.

i took soc043 at uvm "survey of mass communications" last semester and it was about the media like tvs newspapers telephones internet etc and its effects on society. i thought it would be kickass but it was just really boring. super easy though

I'm taking sociology right now in my senior year oh high school, and its not bad. It's basically the study of groups, and actually at times its kind of interesting. There are just a lot of terms that need to be memorized.

i just finished sociology 1301 and i got an A in it.

it was a really easy and interesting class. but i had a really good teacher too so...

all we did was discuss modern lifestyle and ways people associate wit each other and on and on and stuff like that.

its a pretty easy class.

i just finished a lower division sociology class "sex gender and society" it was ok, my ta was a femanist bitch and the whole class was passive aggressive against men but it was really easy. On the tests just had to talk about men oppressing women

i took soc of sport thinking it would be super interesting and mostly common sense, but the tests were way harder than the lecture made it out to be, so watch out for that. sociology courses usually entail a lot of reading that is very necessary to do in order to get a decent grade, sooooo keep that in mind.
