Anybody else think that Charley Ager should be involved with Nimbus?

No. Everyone on Nimbus has style, but Ager doesn't. Don't get me wrong he's a fantastic skier and one of my favorites, but he always flails around and isn't fluid like the Nimbus riders.

i like charley ager alot and like ^^ those two i have to agree. he hucks and has no style but is more then fun to watch.

fuck that, i love how bad his style is. its kinda hilarious to watch (in a good way). sick skier, but half the time you have no idea if he'll even land the trick. he hucks some crazy shit and just loves to ski. i really respect that. but nimbus...no.

YES i've been thinking this forever. he skis for k2 and stomps big shit switch in pow and has a totally unique style which is what nimbus is actually about. the whole idea of nimbus isn't to have a crew of guys who all ski the same.

No.

Gnarley Charlie's lumberjack style would totally clash w/ Nimbus. Nimbus is way more into the cinematics of a shot, whereas Charley literally has a fuck-it attitude. And I literally mean literally- check out his part in EDIAS, befoe he drops in on one of his 9s, he yells "Fuck it, Im dropping" while they are still setting up the shot.

Charley is definitley my favorite skiers. He's No bullshit, there to ski, and always going to throw down camera or not

nimbus is like pretty lights

ager is like limp bizkit

they are totally different nimbus could use some hardcore

for two people who generally focus on the exact same discipline in skiing (ie lines, bc booters, tricks into pow) ager and pollard could not be more different skiers.

I like his superman flaily style. He reminds us all that you don't need perfect fluidity and shit for skiing, you just have to be crazy as fuck and you can be pro.

He also does nice grabs in his tricks. He had an awesome octo grab with hellbents on in EDIAS.

i think charley ager needs to take a trip with Seth morrison. get those two together and I think theyd feed off of eachother very well. Also theyre both sponsored by K2 Jus sayin

Those parts are all sick but people are still forgetting the year before, his part in Journal where he pretty much didn't ski forward for the first 7-8 shots. At the time he didn't have a ski sponsor (think he went off Atomic shortly before along with a lot of guys who were there when Rex Thomas was) and people were coming up to Jeffy at IF3 during the movie asking him who is this guy skiing for and how do we get him. Out of a Theory-3 movie and with no sponsor he managed to get a nomination for skier of the year, and all love to T-Hall, I thought Charley should've won it. That part was one of my favourites ever.

i think he fits in perfect with the poorboyz crew... not to mention his riding buddies are all in that crew too (henituk, leboe, sherpa, etc)... and the man definitely has style, switch 7 blunts perfectly stomped first hit on backcountry stepdowns? sure sometimes he flails but you try not flailing setting an unnatural 5 off a 40 foot cliff with a downhill takeoff... oh wait, nobody does that. charley=boss

Windmilling and charging the fuck out of the BC is certainly not a lack of style. Just because someone's style is different from the norm doesn't mean that it "isn't style."
It's just a different one from the "super clean tight afterbang heavy head" thing. I love watching Ager ski.
And yes, I've been wishing that he filmed with Nimbus for a long time.

I agree style doesnt just mean not flailing and doing everything perfect. I love watching him ski...he looks human

In Journal aswell he seems to have more style. I thought he handled his Atomic thugs a lot better than the ridiculous hellbents.

any charlie ager segment summed up : "watch me huck myself and try and land switch in powder, it works like 15% of the time!"

Watching his revolver segment, specifically from 1:33 - 2:06, and his switch 7 at 3:10 (how the fuck did he land that) completely sold me on hellbents. Someone please notify K2
