Salomon was bought bought out by Atomic during the telus festival. Rumor has it the press release will be out on Sunday.

that would be a pretty stange one... ill give it a 1/10 on the believable scale though, still a chane! if even i thought atomic could afford it on some planet, id give it a 1.4/10

Atomic is big, owned by WILSON sports same as tennis, football,basketball, golf, ect..

You can do it, if you try, if not oh well, then do somthing else!

This has been a rumor that Wilson/Atomic was going to buy Salomon for over a year now.

And Wilson certainly has the money to buy Salomon.

Anyways, why would one company that has more problems than they know what to do with buy another company that has an equal number of problems. Doesnt make any sense, but whatever.

Also, theres been a rumor that Nike was going to buy Atomic...and if that ever proved to be true, Adidas would never sell Salomon to Atomic.

 
no salomon was not bought, correct they are owned by adidas. rossingnol was bought by quiksilver international though like a month ago- making quiksilver now the world's largest manufacturer of skis. hope they make rossi cooler.

A company with problems.. What problems does Atomic have? Their new ski line is sick, the best racing skis in the world (IMO), some new sick twins next season.

sorry kids, salomon bought themselves out from adidas a year or two ago. they are independant, in which case adidas has no bearing on this as to whether they would theoretically sell salomon to nikie, had nike bought atomic.

Salomon was bought by AMER Sports, the company that owns Atomic, as well as a host of other sporting goods brands.

 
well you see it goes down like this salomon beat up the atomic executives then the team riders had a fight adn seeing as the salomon team has john symms he uses his laser vision to blast rex thomas to the shiznit rex then recovered and attacked with his tsunami punch and ruined most of south east asia. Then CSI miami tried to make some sort of relative episode to the tsunami tradgedy to try adn gain some sort of interested sense of pity fomr audiences it fails dismally.
