ANYBODY ELSE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH NS

i know this should be in site discusion but this is really been bugging me and I dont know if its just my computer but a random abort thing pops up and it puts me to a error page and then i cant get back to NS unless i exit and pull up a new internet explorer. Or it freezes as im loading a new page. My freind is haveing the same problem, anyone else. What is going on?
 
I'm having some problems. First of all, when I click to reply to a thread, like 75% of the time it takes a few minutes for the text box to load. The page appears, but I can't type anything into the box for a while.

Another problem occured a little more recently. Pages in the forum are taking forever to load. Hell they are not loading. It looks like they are loading but they don't. And when I 'x' the page out I get a message saying that the server is busy blah blah blah.

I don't know if this is my computer or NS, but every other website is working just dandy
 
yess i get the same thing.... i click on something and the page wont load... then i gotta X out of my tab and it says server is busy... and i just gotta restart the website.
 
yeah exactly i click on like non ski gabber and it just keeps loading but never gets to the page then i have to exit out its so anoying.
 
same here. well not a few minutes but a good forty five seconds.
and also when i type in the text box to respond to a thread the lag on the letters showing up is really bad. it will take like 1 minutes for the letters to show up.
 
had the same problem until i downloaded google chrome. IE, firefox and safari is crap after you've tryed it

truth, i was having problems with ns when i had IE then i switched to firefox and the site has been working fine for me.
 
i use firefox and it still lags sometimes. and when i am replying it takes a while until i can startng typing. And for pages not loading it has happened once and that was last week
 
ya I had the same problem..also with explorer but started using Safari..explorer sucks so bad its amazing its in business
 
yeah massive problems over the last few hours. constantly loading, error screens etc - i'm sure Paul is onto it though
 
i have this same problem and i use safari, it waits for the page to completely load before showing a cursor in the text box so with my slow as shit internet it's very annoying
 
Firefox has been no better for me, but Chrome is good. I just don't like having to use a different browser every time I want to get some NS action.
 
i have the exact same problem and im on firefox. i thought it was just my internet fucking up or somthing.very annoying indeed
 
i've been having the same problems too, especially with the text box thing. sometimes the text box straight up won't load. there'll jsut be what i'm quoting and a reply button and a big blank space where the text box should go. We're on the verge of blowing up the NS servers!
 
good im not the only one getting this. i cant even go on NS anymore because it pops up whenver i click on a thread. it took me three tries to even get to the site discussion forum.
 
People that run NS need to get on top of this. Maybe IE sucks dick, but the other websites I go on are running fine and NS isn't. I'm probably going to download firefox or google chrome and see what happens.
 
will you guys PLEASE fix this i havnt bee able to cruise ns for almost a week because i can only load 2-3 pages and hten it crashes. it really sucks
 
yep, that made a big difference. I was able to type instantly. I am so used to waiting the few seconds now though......
 
yup, i actually just switched over last night because NS was not functioning properly with IE. now with firefox, it works perfectly
 
I am using IE 7 and I keep getting some error. This has been happening to me on several different computers now, so I think it is more an issue with the site than anything.

NS, please look into this as it is dramatically decreasing my user experience.
 
Yeah, I cant read the forums because IE keeps crashing. Yes I understand that firefox is better, but it still should not be crashing my IE. I barely check the site now, please fix it.
 
Im pretty sure its a script somehwere on the site. probably the backround, when that got put up is when it started happening. and i was at my dads house and logged on on his comp and a pop up came up that said "Script on the page may cause internet explorer to run slowly. allow or No" i just hit allow because i didnt think it was anything but i guess i was wrong. pardon the double post
 
yeah i dont want to switch but this is sucking for me. This probably wont even post cuz all of my posts so far have been screwed up
 
back again. i just downloaded firefox and im using that now and so far i havnt been kicked off yet so i recomend it. its free at firefox.com so anyone who was having these problems try it out.
 
for people saying firefox is slow. mine was like that too but i got google chrome and its mighty fast.

pretty simple though but i find that a good thing
