It's annoying like shit, and when I click it, the page goes blank...so I hit the back button on my browser and it usually works.

It only happens with NS so >?

i've been getting the same thing

it's getting old!!! bishop pull yourself out of bed and fix it you lazy slob lolz

I'll try updating my browser version, hopefully that's it...but it only started recently? Not sure if you've made any updates lately.

Unfortunately I don't have firefox, or safari, or anything else, so I don't know...doesn't happen on the safari of my Iphone though (using wireless of course).

Relax, Paul is a busy man who is working on all sorts of shit right now. He has posted in this thread so clearly he is working on addressing the issue.

In the future, would it be best to PM somebody instead of creating a thread? This way, not as many people would be jumping at your necks...?

A thread is probably better being that it gets everyones input and gives the mods more info so that it can be fixed. Also, people won't bug out as much if they see that others are having the problem and that measures are being taken to resolve the problem.

yeah i was getting this issue randomly after a topic would load, then 30 seconds later hit me with the error

I don't get it when using Safari on my mac. But at work it seems to only happen when running Internet Explorer, and only randomly. Although most frequent in the cult forums.

its a vista problem

never happens to me on my laptop or my pc their both xp

always happens on my moms laptop running vista

Yeah I get it too. Maybe the pop-up is a good thing, reminding me that I probably spend way too much time on this site anyways.

ITS NOT JUST NS!
both me and my mom have been getting this problem when using IE. even on sites like fox news(just happend to her) and the tecnica site (happend to me)

everything is good on my macbook.but Ive been getting that warning on my mom's PC vista in IE. IT happens about once ever 4-5 page loads at worst.

I've been having a script warning. it tells me there's a problem and then it aborts the operation. leaving me with a "windows cannot display" page. It's been happening lots, i almost just gave up on this site

I have only had this problem with newschoolers.com, and for the record, I would be bitching about it more except half the time the reply page doesn't load properly and I give up.

Hah to be honest I just got it this weekend. Both on my buddy's Vista machine, and on my machine running XP. Both were with the latest versions of IE.

Paul is working on it... he'll figure it out!

Can everyone please take a screen capture of what is happening and post it in this thread?

WHen you get the error, hit CTRL-Print screen to get it!

That will help us figure it out... its looking like a weird problem.

I think i was trying to open SG - then it opened fine and a few seconds later hit me with the error

Just to let everyone know, I think we have addressed this problem. Turns out that it was a fuck-up in IE7. Microsoft released an update, and caused IE7 to have this error when there was some really specific conditions met. It was all over the internet, so wasn't just a newschoolers thing.

We figured out what was causing it, and have fixed the problem!

Let us know if you see it again...
