Anybody else compete???????

Moguls? Half pipe? Slopestye? Racing? Skier cross? Believe me all of those are on this site, now which ones?

Oh ok. Well I quit moguls this year, saving the knees. I do slope style and half pipe (which i blow at) in USSA. Pretty fun I must say. I'm also going to the open this year, woo.

I compete in USASA for slopestyle and skiercross. Who else is going to Northstar this year??? lets skeeeee!

Notice how i put it after halfpipe? im horrible at half pipe. I guess im ok at slope? and its called and "open" for a reason.

u could say i "compete"...as in like 3 small little comps i have been in. big air. slope. and 2 rail jams...

i dont really like competeing at all. its more fun just skiing normal. unless you really want to get sponserd or go pro

i compete in slopestyle usually, though im working on pipe this year, and have done big airs in the past (though you don't see them much anymore). i'll also enter the ocassional railjam. it depends, but im willing to through some elboes in a skiercross and huck my meat in a big mountain comp as well.

i was considering starting to compete this year, can you start middle of the year, or is it like any other sport season, also what level do you have to be on, not to take it home just be average, are sevens, and switch 5s enough, or do you have to be throwing 9s and 10s both ways?

I compete mostly because they close the park for it, and I want to ski it. I usually get first place just for showing up because I'm one of two or three girls (Not regulars) at my hill.

ohhh ya know, the odd mogal run and such. some of those crazy competitions with those jumps. Some pipe. My pipes lacking... i got to get on that...

i won the 1975 ski ballet worlds. suck on that schiller! haha evryone knows a wormturn is way better than a switch 10! nahnah jus playin.

when i compete i like to yell poop when im in the air at all the people next to the jumps, its really fun, funner than tricks, you guys should try it

it all depends on what circuit or mountain you're at. there are age levels too, so don't worry about skiing against kids that are uber better than you. go for it man! you'll never look back. its soooooooooo much fun!

i stopped doin railjams this year.

630 on front switchup pretz out.

fuck that noize!

Ill leave the competing to the good skiers.

Ya man comps are fun, you get to watch other peoples runs and sometimes get some free stuff that others dont get. Like free redbulls. And every thing is set up uber nice for the competitors.

ooh shit that was you??? I heard some kid fucked up his back but I didnt know it was you.

but yea i was there, I was the kid in the white suit and fujis, I think I have a few pics from my trip in my profile.

i competed a bunch locally last year, and hope to head out of town for some bigger shit this year

I do USASA events sometimes because my boys put on the snowboard ones at the same time. It's fun, but kinda pointless to win gear you probably won't use/sell.

i compete, but certainly don't take it too seriously, i enjoy the pressure situations though, always a good time... this year i'll be organizing events more anyway, so i probably won't be competing as much
