Does anyone here like to pack a fatty? I started dipping while skiing a couple years ago and I've been on and off ever since. I live in Iowa so its kind of a normal thing lol. So the question is does anyone here dip? Favorite brand? Flavor?
 
Meh, i liked it but shit isn't good for you. Only did it for 2 years and it was starting to fuck with my mouth so I quit and haven't touched it since.

I got into it because I smoked at the time and we couldn't smoke in this one park I worked in. But haven't touched either in 4 years.
 
Well I started dipping since I swam and played water polo in high school (need your lungs) but I was dipping to relax. Then in college I switching from Grizzly Wintergreen long cut to pouches since I was seeing a girl who didn't know I dipped and pouches were the easiest way to keep my teeth clean and to be discrete while switching to grizzly mint to switch it up, but it gave me literally the worst breath I've ever had, I had to carry a bottle of Listerine with me.

When I was in Sophmore/Junior Summer of college I made the switch to General's Swedish Snus (Mint of course) And I never looked back. I love Snus way more than dip. Sure it may still be considered tobacco, but there have been studies showing no link between Snus and all the nasty stuff that comes with Dipping/plugs/pouches (http://www.swedishmatch.com/en/Snus-and-health/Research-on-snus/Cancer/).

I love snus also for it being spit-less so I don't have to keep moving my face tube, and also they are barely noticeable due to their size and placement and also a better value in my opinion ($3 for a tin of 24 portions of snus compared to 3.59 for a tin of 18 grizzly pouches).
 
Just quit dude. Too expensive in canada. and not worth the mouth damage haha. But Cope straight or grizzly wintergreen

Dipping is meh. Alot of my friends do it so they always offer me a lip and ill take it, ive never thought about buying myself a tin and probably wont ever

Ive been dipping for 2 years, but im trying to quit.
 
After having to deal with my fathers spit bottles for years I deffinetly will never pick up that habbit.

What bullshit? Sure the prices vary throughout the state, more so across the United States and even more so around the World, Where I live, in Mid-Michigan, General Snus 24 portion Cans are 2.99+tax and Grizz is more than that varrying between low 3's to high 4's. I can get a receipt for you if you'd like.

Oh don't get me wrong, nobody at all buys it in Toronto. Everyone gets it from the states or from reserves.

It's actually a great way to kill the industry, apart from highschool hockey and baseball teams, nobody chews in Toronto.
 
For me its more about calming my nerves without damaging my lungs. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone since it is still a nasty habit to have and chucks don't dig it, but compared to the Long cut I was doing, it is a huge improvement for me. When playing Hockey or on the lift I can pop in a few portions and enjoy my skiing without any anxiety or anger.
 
My college football teammates got me into it 3 years ago, pretty much chewed cope mint or wintergreen long cut every day up until 3 months ago when my whole house decided to quit together, I've had 3 chaws in 3 months and am SO glad I quit. Shit is ridiculously addicting. Don't start.
 
Ive been chewing everyday for like 3 years. $28.50 a tin here for cope wintergreen or long. Planning on quitting in the new year because the old lady dont like it and its a waste of money. Definitely love it though.

Probably average two tins a week. Thanks for solving the math for me, i've always wondered how much i've spent.
 
A ton of kids at my school do it and will in school and its nasty, theyre mostly football/lax/hockey players. Theres a few kids who I see at parties that look like their bottom lip is doubled in size since they pack it so fat. Its a nasty habit overall and I dont see where the "cool" factor of it is, chicks hate it and that alone at least at a young age should play a part in not doing it.

I mean it all depends on where you live. In utah, snus is 4.99 for a tin, not sure about grizz pouches but seeing prices on the wall at gas stations it appears to be around $5.
