this isnt really a "birth" defect because it happened about 1 minute after i left the womb but i was born with really long nails...like really long. when i was screaming and crying when i was born i scratched my cheek..like the whole way down and it had to be stitched and i have a scar on my left cheek from it. its not very obvious from almost 18 years of producing new skin but its there if you look...i think my hair currently covers it though
