Any whiteface riders?

So Im moving out to lake placid this fall so Ill be there for this season. I was wondering who rides there so maybe someone could show me around the mountain!
 
What brings you to Lake Placid? I go there sometimes, not too often though. There are a bunch of kids on this site that ride up there though.
 
this is a bit of a zombie thread but I work on the park crew and now that the season is only 2 months away. I ride there as does Cam Willis he is a NSer yeah there is a solid crew of younger (middle and high school shredders as well as a decent college age demographic from the 3 nearby schools.)
 
I tend to go to Whiteface on occasion, but I ride mostly Gore. Gore is one of the places you can go to with your Whiteface pass (including the Ski3 pass). Both are great for tree skiing, but Whiteface has it all. The slides are usually open under ski patrol discretion, they have some good steep and tree skiing, and the park is phenomenal (the best in NY IMO).
 
I picked up the Gore/Whiteface pass and will be going up most weekends from Albany for one or the other... I have a shit ton of exploring to do since this is my first season out here.

THEY OPEN SUNDAY!! Sooooooo stoked to get on my planks again. Hope to see some ns'ers out there

"slides are usually open" - This is completely false. They are almost never open, and if they are, they almost always require avalanche gear. You are lucky to be able to ski them.

Sorry. I misread the post, but they still almost never open.

I'm bitter because I got a pass last year and never got to ski them.
