Any weird trends at your school?

That made me lol, I watched a buddy of mine literally fucking evaporate a pair of chukkas in a 2 hour skate session.
 
Mushroom Cookies, Cocaine, Longboards, Natty Ice, Car Hopping (Stealing things from peoples unlocked cars at night), Diamond Supply Co, and #YOLO are the biggest things at the moment....
 
A lot of the guys at my school, especially the hockey guys grow out mullets. Mullets everywhere. and a lot of the guys try to grow out moustaches.

a few exceptions for pittsford: no one uses dip, no racism, e-cigs are just getting here, no hackey sacks, no girls who dont shave or shower (as far as i know of).

these things have been going on in high schools for years. Yolo is a new trend but everything else is pretty old
 
Dude. I went to St Andrews. Fuck my life its the unofficial uniform. They even sell St Andrews Uni Hunters now... I don't even...

I loved rocking around in my ski gear back from hillend or xscape or something. It was even better if it was the Uni sports night at the union and we just rocked around looking awesome while the damned Polo club wore jodphurs.

U guys might have heard this before but i'm still nervous to try it. You take a tampon and you soak it in vodka.... then this is where the next step gets a little weird.

Girls definitively take notice. since i use to go to private school i've always had a taste for dressing nicely. i mean i still where skate shoes but thats when im longboarding (still the only kid at my school who longboards AND has been doing it since before it caught on big in the last few years). but ive never had anyone rip on how i dress. only ever get compliments or people asking me where i buy my clothes.
 
yeah my sister went to st andrews. don't know how she put up with it haha

yeah i'm in ABDN snow, literally the best club in uni. definitely the right people to get in with if you wanna stay away from the douchebags as much as possible haha
 
Toms, hipster glasses, girls wearing 70's clothes.

And in germany everyone wore their snapbacks around their belt loops. pretty gay
 
Our school has little quarter pipes on all the bases of each wall. We all get together and throw quarters and closest person to the wall gets everyones quarters. Good ol illegal gambling.

Machines, Trucks, Fox/Dc, steel toe boots and some other hick things.

Most girls at my school have little to know style, the ones who do aren't considered popular so they're easy to pick up. Basically your'e average suburban town highschool.

Oh the most recent thing is thirsty thursdays. Little parties at somones house every thurs night. Not my school, but the local catholic school where all the hotties roam.
 
the "swaggots" at my school- colorful, obnoxious snapbacks, fuckin different pair of jordans for every day of the month, high socks, khaki shorts but in 100 different colors, mac miller/ lil wayne obsession.

then there are the poser skaters who buy the entire zumiez store and wear that shit.

im one of only 2 or 3 kids who wear ski stuff.

girls all wear yoga pants, ugs, aerocrombiehollisterandfitch stuff, the norm and theyre all sluts.

tons of jugalos/ slayer fans and gay kids who feel the need to let everyone know of their sexual orientation
 
The guys at my school in their tight pastel colored shorts, Sperrys, and polos do not particularly appeal to me. There are ways of dressing nice without looking like a prep, believe me. I have seen attractive guys wearing preppy clothes and pulling it off, but when your polo is way too tight or when you wear stuff like that every day, it gets really old, really fast. It's just so... typical.
 
True, I see what you're saying. I wasn't being specific enough. There are obviously those douches who wear polos, khakis and sperrys and think they're the shit. I totally agree with what you're saying about buying the most expensive clothes and thinking they look good. I guess what I was trying to prove in my original point was that at some point, you have to stop wearing skate shoes and ripped jeans, and start to dress more maturely?
 
Why would you ever need to stop wearing skate shoes? There's this thing called skateboarding and skate shoes are kinda made for that...
 
pretty sure no one wears ripped jeans these days. i do kind of agree with you, but i think it depends who you are and what you do with your life as you get older that dictates what you wear
 
green cards are kind of a trend at my school and the kids that do it turn into douches and sell hella cheep bud from the dispensaries for way more than its worth.

funny thing yesterday, a bunch of kids instead of partaking in the 420 festivities, decided to get hammered in school.

as far as trends, plaid shirts and snapbacks, and saying styl. thats about it.
