Any upstate NY people throwin down hard?

yo i live in upstate ny and im jus lookin for some peeps to ski with. i know for me skiin with someone helps push me cus i always wanna one up the person and want them to one up me. so ANYONE from upstate ny if ya know like Greek peak or labrador or even Hunter get at me.
 
yo i dont no how good you are but theres a big crew that always rides at belleayre. There park is alright now so its not terrible. But theres some sick skiiers and riders. I fucked up my shoulder pretty bad im going to the doctor today but ill still be up there this weekend.
 
yo so where is belleayre. never heard of it before. im ok ive only been freeskiin for like a yr but i have been all mountain skiin for like 12. but yea if u could get back at me. sry about the shoulder man i stressed slash almost tore my rotator cup earlier this season at whiteface on a shitty rail. you wouldnt think your should matters in skiin but omg that shit fuckin killed i was out for like month and a half.
 
yea so go to www.Belleayre.com its not the best mountian but there park is decent and the kids are sick. Thats the reason i go there just because if you know peopl;e theres always someone good to ride with. If im hurt ill still be there filming this weekend. Theres a kid thats 10 whos throwing corked 5;s and stuff then theres this other kid who can 10. and everything else and hes 14.
 
^alright fine ill define it more like central new york south of syracuse west of albany north of scranton PA and east of buffalo/ rochester. to be specific i live in binghamton. happy now. but thanks hopefull ill get to belleayre one of these days.
 
totally off topic but the only memory i have of albany is stayin the night there before i had to be shipped off for marine corps boto camp so its not a happy one lol. but anyways i heard theres some sick urban shit in albany downtown
 
since when did albany become a town? it sounds so white trashish, but then again, at nisky, we have a max of like 10 black kids while albany and schenectady have like 10 white kids, i'll just shutup now.
 
albany is just so ghetto....i cant stand it either.

anyways i'm down too if anyone wants to ski. we're building a booter at lincoln park hopefully this pm
 
yo so i dont know how your gettin to PA from binghamton but its defintly not like 30 minutes. maybe at most like 15 i can make it to scranton in like 45 max. and anyways im really not that worried about the distance to the places. right now i work at greek peak and i have to drive an hour one way every time. so im willin to drive.
 
Mad people throw down at greek peak. There are like three good crews and ski off and on, the Ithaca Crew AKA 607 AKA Wonderbunch, then the Vestal Crew, and then the GP Royals, which are the best of the best at greek peak who ski together, and they absolutely kill. Theres other various crews that are good that chill at greek as well.
 
nice i didnt realize that. guess im to busy bein a fuckin instructor up there. i really hate doin it but its sick on the weekends cus i get to teach little 6 and 7 yrs old the park and shit like how to hit rails the right way and not use rail lips for fuckin jumps and shit. that shit pisses me off. anyways me and a couple of my boys will be up at greek this wednesday so hopefully ill see some other reppin. this wil be like only my second time skiin without havin to work 8 hrs before. im stoked toi try to land that double kink before the kicker.
 
haha alright proves my point even more. you're way closer to pa then cny. if you work at greek you should know erik vaningen, matt mcginnis or the park manager there. why not try to find someone to ride with there.
 
yea i know a couple of those guys and i use to inline with mike (park manager) and a couple others bake in the day. jus lookin to see if anyone else wanted to meet up for some sessions or what not.
 
i dont thinnk that the group of friends themselves actually go "lets call ourselves the ...!!" i think its jus like what people around them start to refer to them as. who know su could be in a ski group and not even know it hahahaha.
 
So true, I Skied way upstate NY growing up, at a place called Titus Mountain. about 40 minutes from Canada. Kids up there throw down, they don't have much work with but they make it work.

 
belleayre is right near hunter and windham, all like 20 minutes away from eachother. I've been to windham and hunter already this year but i live like an hour south of there, I ski at mountaincreek in northern jersey
 
Im from near Lake Placid, thats upstate NY. A few really sick riders have came from around here. Mike Nick probly the most recognizable was from plattsburgh i think

Kids at Jiminy kill it. Its mass, but literally 30 seconds over the border. Though if you live in Binghamton thats a haul

jiminy is in massachusetts. Central new york would be the CENTER of the state- i.e. points east to west between utica and rochester, and north to south between oswego and binghamton. Jiminy peak is east of eastern new york
 
when you're in ny, anything north of the city for some reason is considered upstate ny. When i moved from the bronx to sullivan county, about an hour away, my friends back in the city would say hows the country, or how is it upstate? When in reality you could still go like 7 hours more north
