It is SO much easier looking over both shoulders. I would look over the wrong shoulder for a while, but it is much easier to look down hill if you, for example, look over the 'opposite' shoulder. Meaning, if you are switch and going from YOUR left to right (downhill it is literally from the right side of the trail to the left) then look over your left shoulder. You can see all the way down the slope while you are turning.
Right now I'm good at skiing switch, but slide too much in my turns instead of doing solid carving =/
