M montageskier Active member Jan 14, 2006 #3 Salomon Thruster is a real good start up ski, for someone who is light. But if you are a bit bigger the the k2 Pe is a good startup ski.

froom Member Jan 15, 2006 #5 you're going to destroy your startup skis...the foil is relatively expensive. go with the thrusters and you wont be dissapointed.
