Any snowboarders? show yourselfs

For a second I thought you were going to divulge your hate for snowboarders, but Im glad that you are a snowboarder. But Most skiers (myself sometimes included) gravel to snowboarders because they are way wradder then us. So a word of caution, be careful if you ever choose to post something that talks about how skiers dont give a shit about snowboarding.
 
Um, i dont snowboard, but most are pretty cool, I end up skiing with them all teh time

all the kids i go with snowboard, i mean of coarse i roll with the skiing crew sometimes but like the kids i am best friends with and hang out any season of the year, the ones that give me rides and i ride up the lift with, they all snowboard, and they are way cool with skiing too, they really got some new respect for it.

we are pretty much the same sport. i dont see why people dont see that.

its like the difference between truck racing and nascar racing. they are both the same sport. just different ways of doing them.
 
I'm not a snowboarder but I tried it once for a week. I couldn't, so I give respect to them, they're also really cool and look better on rails.
 
snowboardong is so much fun man... all my friends snowboard, im basically the only skier so i get to borrow their gear once in a while, and i love it, so do they when they try skiing
 
i boarded for like 6 years and all my friends used to board and they all switched to sking like 2 yrs ago and all the jumps, rails and shit like that can really only be used on skis so i decided to quit snowboarding and start skiing this year and i already tried it 1ce and it is extremely hard...how do i skI? most ppl say that skiing is harder than snow boarding but i have never skied b4 only boarded and its really hard for me
 
yea i snowboard... got a burton dominant with some leather leblanc bindings... plus matching suit.. shit is sick.
 
me and my bro are the only ones i kno who r good at sking out of the people i kno so i always go with snowboarders and kick their ass the only snowboarders i hate r the ones who r like wow u ski skings for faggots the im like lets take this 2 the park

I don't know why really but snowboarders just look more smooth. I will say though that good skiers look goo on rails.
 
i have to agree with that snowboarders do look smooth, but i deffiniatly think from a snowboarders perspective that skiers look cooler and are better at grinding just cuz its soo much harder
 
i snowboard....but we go with skiers all the time and i dont see the difference in it but thats just cuz i dont really care what people say its a stupid fight between boarders and skiiers
 
I can't hate, im the only skier in my school, basically, i have no choice to either go up to my reasort wit' snowboarders or my brothers
 
skiing and snowboarding both involve snow..they both are sweet...i snowboarder for umm 3 years and then switched over to skiing the last month of the season last year....it was a good change but snowboarding is still doep
 
i have snowboarded once before and it was a real big change from skiing. turning was a lot easier than i thought but stopping was a little harder (kept falling on my face). i like skiing more but snowboarding was really fun. definetly doing it again
 
sorry i meant that ppl say snowboarding is harder than skiing and i think skiing is extremely hard
 
i snowboarded for a year... didnt like it as much. but all of my friends board, but they're fine with skiing and i'm fine with boarding. its all just riding to me.
 
Yea boarders are cool. And I've notiticed how smooth lots of boarders are as well, but thats just because their legs are locked a set distance apart, and dont have to worry about crosses or anything. It takes alot more to make a super smooth jump with skis.
 
I have skied for 21 years and boarded for 19 years. During college I would only ski one or two days a year though (pre-twin tip fun skis).

Now I coach both and am at about 50-50 split. I like to change it up at lunch when I am in Colorado. It tends to mess with people when they see you throw a smooth 3 on your board in the morning, and then do the same trick on skis 3 hours later :)

They are both equally fun and cool, so do both, then you can say you REALLY go both ways.

i snowbnoarded for 2 1/2 yrs..tehn i faded into skiing. havent done it for about a year now and i bet if i did it again i would want to quit skiing and start snowboarding
