Any Snow Left?

Well, 4th of july bowl is pretty much done, not worth the drive up there for sure. Anyone else know of any spots with snow/rails and easy to get to?
St Marys is always an option, but quite a hike if theres nothing to session.
Heard a rumor about Mosquito pass having some stuff set up, might check it out.
If you know of anything, please share, we wont tell all the breck snowboarders who'll trash the place with cigs and PBR cans.

if anything is on mosquito pass still its whats left over from a bunch of cmc kids like 2 years ago that never went back to pick it up. i doubt theres anything worth going up for. it faces the sun all day too so it probably is gone if 4th bowl is gone as well. shelly's rail was left up there for so long, it may even still be there. i havent been to that piece of shit place in a while. it would be a cool day trip though just to see whats up. let us know mike!

you can get your summer shred on up at rollins pass. its a bit of a drive and then a hike but you can ski almost 1000 vertical

anyone trying to go up to 4th of july this week? there's enough snow on the upper pile to make some fun shit..!

Mosquito pass FTW. Only had a flat bar set up but it was skiing none the less.

Hi Scott - Have you and Erin been getting Rollins? The cmc kids are planning on setting a few more jibs on skeeter but it would be cool to venture more places.

havent been up there this summer, my guess is the snow has huge runnels and stuff. went last year this time of year and it was shitty, guessing its worse this year.

I skied skyscraper "glacier" on Rollins Pass on Sunday and it was great. The runnels last year were insane, but this year the snow on it is surprisingly smooth. Definitely good skiing. There is a dirty spot in the middle, which can be quickly traversed across and leads to more good snow on the bottom half. If you don't mind hiking I would totally recommend it. It took us 50 min to get to the top and an hour an a half to get back to the car from the bottom. There is also a small snowpatch at the parking lot you could set up a rail, but why would you when Skyscraper is so close! Check out the pictures below.

damn skyscraper is still going? i skied it like a month ago and i thought that was for sure the last good day i would be able to get on it.

I skied skyscraper yesterday- last night actually.......I

have never had snow sluff past me in august. I can say it was worth it however,

I had never been to the area before and I got in trouble after the run when I

got lost in the valley. I REALLY had trouble finding the trail out, almost ran

out of darkness, and then ended up walking back to my car in darkness (cause my

car could only make it up so far since the road was so godam rocky). Also

not to mention I was retarded and didnt bring enough water or food. I made the

huge mistake of starting waaay too late in the day- I am a fucking idiot. I

parked my car on rollins pass at 2pm and did not get out back into winter park

until 10:15 pm.

Lesson learned: do not go alone when u dont know the area, always start early,

always bring more supplies than needed because you don't want to walk back to

your car in complete darkess alone, tired as fuck for an hour in the godam

wilderness.
