Yo whats up, I'm from Pa and I'm thinking about going to UW. I have been out there over the summer and checked it out, I just want to know what it is like in the winter and if there is any decent skiing nearby, Thanks!
I'm pretty sure there isn't much skiing around UW. I think Steamboat is within 3-4 hours and Jackson is 5-6 hours. There is a small ski area in the mountains by there but I dont think it is much to ski.
thats what I thought, it's like 2 1/2 hrs. to steamboat and the closest place is some hill called snowy king, this is also the reason i'm probably not going there!
