Any other parents on NS?

I really wonder what that generation of kid´s is going to be like. I mean they´re not going to be totally different oviously the age gap´s not that big but still... Will your son be trying to act like a gangster in his teens? Will you give him your Vintage Saga Hoodie as a present or will you be holding speeches on powder days about the time where a backcountry ski only had 130 underfoot?Anyways I hope you and your family will be happy no matter what!
 
Haha I was never much for the gangster dress-up and I've never owned anything Saga in my life. But you make some really good points. I think I'll save my King Underground hoodie for when he's older, maybe my hellbents too?
 
I'm saving Partly Cloudy and Mutiny so my kids can see what ski movies were like when they first started. Never thought about ski clothes, got a few GD concert shirts saved for them though.
 
Dude, is it just me or are they making condoms a lot more cheaper these days? Or is that because I'm scummy and use 50 cent bathroom ones.?
 
I have Ski Movie 1-3 that I still watch from time to time, back when MSP used to actually be worth watching which was over ten years ago now. I have a few movies from every year from '99 to now, luckily movies like Propaganda are on the internet now. I definitely think it's important to understand the evolution we've gone through to get to where we are now. I think I have a few old TGR vhs's from the 80's and 90's too.
 
That's epic.I have 2 kids - my son JP is 5 now and skiing his 3 winter this year - and i cant wait to hit the slopes with him next weekend when my wife and I bring the kids to our cabin in the mountains. My girl Cilia 2½ will get on skis for the first time ...... me - stoked

And OP good luck with the parenting - now everything in your life is about someone else - and that Love is bigger than anything :)
 
Jus scored a major win for skiing......earlier I posted about how I was so excited to buy my nephew his first pair of skis, and how me and his dad are teaming up to get him skiing before his mom gets him on a snowboard....

well now his momma found a brand new pair of skis and boots for FREE and she will be learning to ski at the same time as her lil man!!! next thing you know she'll be all over newschoolers jus watch
