bought it for 8 grand as a salvage- didnt drive it for a year- got it running with some basic shit and then i got a much better job, as well as being neighbors with chad- the owner of cbrd-(parts at cost) i started dumping all of my money into this- and now this is how she sits-

ran 568 at the wheels on Sunday with the motor now running e-85. im going to beat the shit out of it for the rest of the summer then it has to get parted out for money for transferring to a new school- but hey CU Boulder here I come

ohhh i love the gensis- my daily driver is a hyundai accent - why couldnt they have made hyndais like that years ago haha
but no i got the evo as a salvage from some yard in VA- the rear had been hit by a garbage truck- basically the whole rear, drivers side rear quarter panel, and rear suspension were fucked- it was insurance totaled and there was no motor since it had been sold- bought it- trilered it- and thanks to cbrd and my friends put it back together with every paycheck- honestly its cost me too much money but thats how everything is in cars
it will sit semi stock at school- the coils, exhaust, intake and some other parts will be swapped to another motor i have waiting- im going to sell the built motor, turbo etc.
then after college idk what im going to do- if I get a good job, i plan on scooping up an e-46 m3 and dropping a hpf turbo in it
 
oh and sorry for the trip post- but genesis guy- are you on satnceowkrs yet- there are a few pooping up on their that are just tits
 
thanks! yepp theres a front mount there haha, right now im at 21 PSI but the stock turbo is maxed out. Im swapping that out shortly =]
 
o ok i kept thinking it was a tib and ive never seen a stock turbd tib before. how hards it worked and whats your whp
 
and for the record. my exhaust is indeed a 3 in header back but i dont run around with a goddamn fart can on my car. Its a full skunk2 exhaust with a apexi gt on the back. silenced for the popo around here. i might be 17 but im not a retard like all the other teenagers around

Anything domestic. I do all my own work on my cars and i've bought a few projects to fix up for some quick money.

I made $800 profit off of a 91 Chevy S10 that had been sitting in the woods for 6 years, made a cold air intake for the 99 S10 I had, and replaced engine, tranny, and rear end in my current 98 S10.

I also used to work in an older style auto shop which was pretty badass.

One thing that kills me is the whole muffler thing. Unless you have a large displacement V8, leave your goddamn muffler on and in one piece. My buddy drilled several holes in his muffler (98 S10 V6) just so he could make it sound better. All it did was make his backpressure and throttle response suffer and now it has about the same pickup as my 4 banger S10.
 
haha maybe if you were running a 1/4 mile cause a 4cyl turbo wont do over 110 lol. lemme guess your one of those guys with the pimped out civics? lmao
 
replaced an axel and a brake caliper, rebuilt a pully system, built a ski rack and drilled it into the roof of my car without it leaking, and painted a car, but only on a POS, i rather ski than buy a nice car or pay a mechanic to do something i could do
 
do you have a b20? I think thats it, dont know shit about hondas. Oh and i forgot, im helping my friend swap his 240 to rb20 or rb25 depending on the money he has.
