im sticking it out for the winter in victoria, i need people to ride with. can anybody hook me up with some gnar lines, i was there 2 years ago and skied herion chute but there is so much more

ye bro i know the mountain like the back of my head but this thread should be put in the vancouver/whistler forums since its closer to there but whatever, if you got facebook join the mt washington group i just posted sum pics of all the brand new rails we got , 11 new rails and boxes ranging from dragon boxes to c rails and we also have newly installed lights and apparently speakers in the park, and with cancelation of jumps in the RCR parks looks like Mt Washington could have one of the sickest parks in Western Canada this season, EXCLUDING WHISTLER BECUASE THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE SICKEST PARKS!

Anybody go up opening day? Cuz i missed it. Was there good coverage and what did the park look like? Prbly goona it up next weekend

didn't go to the park, but i know they only had the first jump open, I was told the second one is looking really big for normal.

and better coverage then any point last season

I can confirm this, the first jump was open, the second one is looking nice n big. Almost as if their building the double black before the black... They also had a box set-up next to the 2nd jump.Coverage was great, not a rock in sight on any of the runs I did. Much better then any day last season.
We have a Mt.Washington cult as well. I'm not sure if it's open invite or not but feel free to PM me if you'd like in.

The Mt washington cult has been switched to open invite, so, invite as many of your friends as possible!

I was up there on opening day, but decided to play just beyond the ropes instead of skiing groomers all day. We dug an avalance pit all the way to ground level just for fun (and used the snow to build a booter). And I can confirm that there is at least 2 meters of snow up there, so the base is looking good so far.

Opening day was pretty sick. Props to Washy for having at least a few hits in the park. Gotme stoked for some real skiing. Lets pray for some pow this weekend!

Finally its cold again!!! Does anyone know if there working on the park this week?Cuz the forecast looks pretty dry for a few days.

Its my second year at washington and second year in the park, Its the layout of the jumps the same from year to year or do they mix it up a bit?, I thought the layout was really good last year given the low tide. But im pretty pumped to check it out next weekend.

they have switched up a couple little things every year, but yeah it stays more less totally the same each year. shocker goes up in the same spot, they have the step up, raw and sweet right after LM at the top. normaly they have large marge and little marge or maggy right beside that kinda. the rails and what not thrown around.
