u or someone u know...

my mom is going to be a gaper usher (ticket scanner) at PC so we can get really cheap season passes......

also, does anyone know of a job u could get @ the resort @ age 14?

sweet deal man i work at my local place when im home on breaks in rentals i use to scan to our machines never worked though but yea man at 14 you could work in rentals or try in the kitchen at our place those were the 2 easyest places to work at ur age bro good luck

you could check at the resort. but i'm pretty sure most food jobs are 16, and in rentals they might want ou to be atleast 15.

it all has to do with labor laws, and the insurance that the place has.

its def a good job tho, this year is gonna be my fourth and i've been in rental since i was 15.

you should try to get a job at rentals even though you might be too young, try anyway. I work at my resort and get a free season pass, it's pretty sick

I was an apprentice ski instructor at my local hill when I was 14. I didnt get paid but I got free skiing and a discount on food (which was handy cuz i was gonna be there most of the season anyway), and next season I was garanteed a job

I was an instructor for 4 years back when there was no law about the pay and they could get by paying you IF you got a lesson. I would make less than a hundo a year, but free skiing was clutch. (this was in like 2002-2006)
This year i'm in the ticket window, pretty ill job cause i can bring my laptop and chill... meet ski bunnies, and ski for free when im done.

I've worked at my resort for 8 years now. I started out at 14 in rentals, and I worked my way up to being a Ski Tech. Now I've switched over to park crew and it's a lot better.

if it's a free pass you're looking for, trying volunteering for the blind...

bunch of kids from my school volunteer to ski with blind / deaf skiers. all they have to do is do it 6 times and the mountain gives you a free pass. plus, with so many colleges searching for community service, it's a good way to build your resume and get a free pass at the same time!

My mom works in the summer for the grizzly bear refuge.

My friend is an instructor in the winter and a store guy in summer and I ski for Kicking Horse.

its all good stuff

I am a patroller, ( after 6 years of instructing), My sister is a instructor, and my mom works guest services all at the same place, so my dad just mooches off us and ski's for free.

ive been instructing since i was 16, i quit last year to work at a small local ski shop, and this year im just working in the kitchen and helping out at the bar upstairs, i get to eat for free, and ski for free, and if im lucky drink for free (sometimes). plus the lady in charge is the nicest person i have ever met and gives me hours whenever i want, and free passes for my friends

i've worked rentals, instructed, and now im doin park crew. rentals can be mad fun if the people you work with are cool, i hated instructing because at my resort you get payed by the lesson, also i hear foods isnt so bad either

ski shop salesman. it's a killer gig. half price equipment and paid ski breaks are what make me wake up every morning.

1. wouldn't want to, less skiing for me

2. you have to press 2 keys to make the @ symbol, why not type at?

my cousin kyle worked at alpine last season parking cars... when i came out from NY for a week he got me the hook up!+1 for alpine meadows

Bunch of people work at my hill.. u can start at 14, but u gotta get a workers permit. We also go a park staff which i was gonna try and do but you dont get paid, just discounts and free passes. But you also get to ride all day, its got its perks but i need money :/

i started working at my "resort" two years ago, when i was 14 as an assistant instructer and now i teach. i just went to the job fair we had, sometime in october, and got interviewed and hired from there. I dident need any special papers except for my Social Insurance Number, but thats canada, i dunno where you live
