Any NSers shred Manning Park BC?

I'm normally a hemlock or baker guy myself but I had a manning pass a few years ago and it was fun as shit, no one on the mountain except for a few sick old rippers. Might hit it up once this season, ill shoot you a pm and we can shred
 
You just blew my mind, have been skiing BC and Alberta basically my whole life and I've never even HEARD of this joint!
 
I'll bring this up with the guys I'm driving back home after exams. Taking the crowsnest will take us a little longer, we were thinking about hitting up Sun Peaks on the way home but this is a cheaper option and I'm down for taking new routes home!

 
so I'm a big nerd and was curious so I checked on Google. It's actually quicker to drive to Nakusp from the lower mainland via Manning than it is via Sun Peaks. Just take 5A north from Princeton to the Connector when you leave Manning.

As for Manning, I've driven by on the highway a whole bunch but never turned in and checked the hill out. I try not to do the drive to the coast too much in the winter so it's usually not open when I drive by. Had to drive to Van last winter and thought about stopping but it was a crazy snowstorm in Manning Park and did not feel like stopping due to the roads getting worse. One day I'll hit it up. Always wanted to check out Hemlock as well.

Generally I'm a little skeptical of taking the connector in the winter because it tends to be an even bigger shitshow than the coquihalla, but since I'll be with friends it won't be so bad.
 
I've been there once with my school, and it was lots of fun! One of the cool things about it is that you feel like you've gone back in time, and everybody there is pretty laid back. My only complaint is that the lifts are really slow, but that in a way adds to the feel of the place.
