Heli coils are like a metal screw hole that gets screwed into a bigger whole in the same place as the original mount. So basically what they do is, drill a larger hole where the first hole is (where the rip out occured), then they put the heli coil in then use the heli coil (which has a threaded screw hole) as the hole for the binding screw (it's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the easiest way to explain it). What I would do is go to your local shop and explain that you have a binding rip out and you want to see what your options are, most likely they'll tell you you can pay $XX for a remount either forward 1cm or backward 1cm (or more or less if you want), or you can pay $XX (more than the remount) for heli coils. It depends on the shop on how much it'll cost.
