Any homies in Crested Butte?

I'm graduating from CU next week and I got a job out at a lodge on the Taylor River so I'll be moving out to the CB area at the end of May. I've visited in the summer a couple times before but not for any longer than a day or two.

What are some fun things to do out there (besides the obvious)? I plan on hiking, running, and camping as much as I can. I also skate and it looks like Gunnison and CB have decent skateparks. I've considered getting into mountain biking but I don't have a bike. Might save up for one.

Also if any NS homies are out there and wanna be friends, hit me up!

CB mountain bike scene is one of the best in the state i hear

Not sure yet. It's seasonal so I'll only be out there until mid October but if I get hired into a permanent role I might stay.
 
My experience in CB was the people aren’t the friendliest to non locals, which is anyone who can’t afford to live in CB. Honestly curious if we have any NSers in CB, it seems like 1/2 retired/older “settled” people, and 1/2 flocking young seasonal workers.

The area itself is beautiful, and easy access to all the cool shit in SW Colorado.
 
I up and quit my job then left town after I found out the sheriff drives a Tesla which I wish was a joke but is in fact not.

Also don't interact with Jen Oberling. Do not speak to her, do not make eye contact with her, don't go trying to figure out who she is. You will either encounter her or you won't, may the Lord be on your side.
