Any hockey players here?

what type of equipment you got? i play alot, and i mean.. ALOT, on outdoor rinks. i find it's the most fun because you don't have 30 second shifts and you're just out with other people in the neighbourhood that like to have a good time aswell (so its a great way to meet people). i'm looking into getting some superdope gear, since all i need is a stick, gloves, and skates, and not the rest of the equipment, i figure i might as well get top of the line shit. any recommendations? i work at a sport store so can get gear for cheap, so the cost is no matter. i've tried on the vapor 30s, which feel sick, but i'm not sure how they'd perform.. and i don't want to get just anything. can anyone here speak from experience on a sick pair of skates? or having used an amazing stick?

thanks for the input. cheers.

yeah and another thing, my foot is pretty fucked up. i wear a double E width, so my foot itself is pretty wide, but my heel and ankle are really thin. i find is so easy for the back of my foot to chafe because nothing really holds the back off my feet secure.

suggestions?

i play hockey, but I'm a goalie so I can't really help you out with equpment.

Yeah man the vapours are really good, but if they dont fit properly try ccm vector skates, they tend to be a bit wider. gloves, I use rbk, but thats because I get them for free. I'd say go with nike or bauer as they are the same company and are pretty much the same gloves. sticks, I have the rbk 5k and it's probably the best stick I've ever used.

I got graf 705's, eagle x91 gloves, bauer 5000 with a bubble mask, tps 5000 pants, easton z-air shoulders and shinnies, and koho opps sticks.

yeah i've used a 4k and 7k before and i love em. 4k is a bit more flexy, which is awesome, and the 7k has such nice flow. real light too.

Everything ive got is bauer and i don't have any complaints. their stuff is so comfortable its unreal and ive had most of my stuff for two years now. I only have the vapor 20's but will definitely go to the 30's next time i buy new skates.

its not really the skates man its the skater, but bauers are the nicest i find i rock vapors for sure. the top of the line sticks now are all those tech ass one piece synergys and stuff i got one they're fucking dope. so light and so responsive.

I love vapors, but they fall apart before one season is over. My Grafs have been through 4 seasons and they're still mint.
